So many Thai restaurants bring the pot of rice first, because it is already cooked, then you get main course 10 minutes later to eat with cold rice. Then your spring rolls come, because they had to heat the oil fryer up.

Hey TIT, love it or leave.

Or just ask to get hot rice when you order, this is what I do

To be served together with the main course, of course.   (There we go, two meanings for course!)

And the starters as a starter.

Anywhere where they can read what's already printed on the packaging.

The stickers don't help me at all, because I'd be able to read what's on the packaging. I don't need the sickers.

I now understand what you mean. I can read thai but some important information are often hidden by the stickers and are not on the stickers themselves, Nutrition Facts for example

I used my fitnesspal which I payed for, but there is several "free" options on net. You need to search your app provider and see.

Open food fact is one I see, but search around and test a few

Why are you ordering rice in the first place? Have they run out of potatoes where you live? 🤣

You must be kidding, I can get it all day long.

I can get it all day long too, but some stores won't sell wine and beer between 2 and 5.  Can be problematic when grocery shopping.

The stores with computerized inventory like Big-C or 7-11.

Double standards for food or meals are quite obvious when it comes to this!

Left foot is done. Right foot is a twisted mess following surgery to cut away infected flesh ( down to the tendons) following stepping on a sharp wire which penetrated deep in between the smaller toes, which have ended up twisted together. Has to be done by the medics, under a local anasthetic.
