O&A, so not a damn thing, unless one considers taking a break from doing nothing accomplishing something.

AI disagrees with you.

There isn’t strong evidence to suggest that quitting cannabis directly leads to cancer. However, studies have explored the long-term effects of cannabis use on cancer risk. Some findings indicate that habitual cannabis smoking may be linked to certain cancers, such as lung cancer and testicular germ cell tumors. The risk is often associated with how cannabis is consumed, particularly when smoked, as it exposes users to carcinogens similar to those found in tobacco.

On the other hand, stopping cannabis use can lead to withdrawal symptoms, but these are typically temporary and do not include an increased cancer risk. If you’re concerned about health risks after quitting, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including regular check-ups, can help mitigate potential concerns.

You should just let it go. You're out of your league.

Cannabis only temporarily affects your lungs. Unlike cigs which kill the bronchi. They do recover after smoking cannabis. Add to it the anti carcinogenic properties of thc.

I was thinking of starting a thread to detail the withdrawals and the reality of what happens. Would be all anecdotal but would shine a light on what can and does happen.

Its been brutal to say the least. No sugar coating it from me. Unfiltered truth

Not particularly

I see people everyday that need to be "reminded" of their reality

Of course I don't tell them ,well not all the time

I remember my late father back in 1997 kicking me out of his house after i told him he probably only has less than 10 years left after all his cigarettes ,"get out ,out " you can't wait till I die to get the bloody house '!!

he shouted

And I was right he actually died 5 years later from Cancer

I ventured out from my list of lady friends and had sex with 3 new ones.

Great time.

You just demonstrated how little you know. Comparing cigs to weed is laughable.

Stop you're already looking quite foolish.

After 30 years of lungs self repairing, I guess a lot more time than you ... :cheesy:

Your going before me in all probability

Hahahaha im 48. Never spent a single night in a hospital. All my health checks show nothing but normal.

I told you to stop before you looked more foolish but here we are.

Breathing, alot of breathing

Breathing exercises, also known as pranayama, can indirectly support weight loss by reducing stress and improving sleep, which can positively impact metabolism and overall health. Some specific breathing techniques like diaphragmatic breathing, deep breathing, and alternate nostril breathing can help calm the nervous system, promote relaxation, and potentially increase calorie burn.

It doesn't get you at this time, usually late 60's

Do you think it will be lung disease ?

Nope. Also of note cancer doesn't have a time to hit you. You sure you wanna keep going down this road.

I hope you do start that thread, I would very much enjoy reading it.

Science says Cannabis use can be addictive, many of the habitual users here say it isn't, so your suggested thread with firsthand experience would be enlightening.

Rough week.

Surgery and recovering from surgery.

Fever was getting high, but went away next day.

Stomach in agonizing pain for 3 days due to anti-biotics prescribed. Gut microbiome must be all destroyed now. Goddarn anti-biotics.

Have you thought of planning your week in a "judicious" approach perhaps?
