I'm always dissing the disrespectful, nasty, cheap foreigners, they need to be told.

So many here, I'm proudly a record holder for the most thumbs down (50) on one comement.

I'm also proud to be very different to most here, I never whinge or whine, or ever complain about Thailand and their people.

It's the most beautiful country with the most beautiful people.

Bring on those thumbs down, I'm so bloody proud of them. 👍

1. As a species, we have lost our humanity, our ability to be polite when we disagree.

2. Hide that behind the grey sea of anonymity and you get the enormous number of trolls who have degraded this forum.

Didn't used to be this way.

Must be those broke Brits and Aussies. They're always jealous.

No need to look down. Posting your opinion that it´s not the right way to go, is not looking down. 🙂

Correct @Gottfrid, I totally agree.

So how would you characterize your posted opinions on those who choose "not the right way to go"?

50 thumbs down is nothing to be proud of, neither is dissing other members.

Being an independent thinker is something to be proud of.

Following the crowd, not so much.

Some, who can afford it, prefer the luxury of not having to deal with immigration agents. I totally understand that.

And some, who cannot afford it, prefer being able to stay here. I totally understand that too.

That I am not dissing anybody. They got my full attention. Attention in a bad way. So, in that case it´s much more harsh than dissing. 🤣

It is a great idea to leave 800K in a Thai bank account at 0% interest.

put the 800 K in an Australian bank account and you will get well over the going rate for a visa via an agent in interest alone and the added security of the Thai bank closing your account.

And keep it in a Super account, and the return is about twice that amount in a savings account - and tax free too.

But @Yagoda is a great guy!

I don't think I've ever heard him pontificating on fine wine, foodie restaurants, museums or any other pretentious elitist nonsense.

And @Harrisfan seems like a decent enough bloke, but hasn't been posting long enough for me to form any solid view.

Sure, there are fine people on both sides (according to the orange Jesus).

A fine fascist is an oxymoron.

The only good fascist is a dead fascist.

Agree entirely, and it's the thing I don't like about this forum, and it stops me from posting, as many times I make a post or type out a reply, then just delete it because I think...why bother, someone is just going to come right back at me, twist my words to use against me, and I can do without the agro.

Getting that way too. I enjoy a debate or bit of banter but there are the sad, little losers with nothing better to do than become human click bait.

Saying that, still a great place to get information and advice about living here. Just have to try and get in and out before the minority wake up or come in from their morning stroll.

I see this in the forums all the time .........

Posters looking down on guys living in Pattaya, elderly, guys living on a pension, living in a rented condo, supporting a woman and her family, men spending time in bars, or smoking weed/tobacco, etc.

Why not just enjoy your own life and stop looking for fault or judging other people?

Because you deal in alternative facts and peddle conspiracy theories.

This topic has had nearly 4,000 views in the 20hrs since I started it.

So hardly a dead forum!

Half is bot traffic, the rest social and seo ranked clicks, 4000 views in general is quite pathetic on the internet lol.

that is called dead. Bounce rate is 80%.

even within topics its mainly users like yourself spamming one page per post.

Sorry, I don't really know what you mean with all that, but suspect you're dissing me.

Anyways, if it's a dead forum, why are you posting on it?

Why the question in the first place? Today one can insult anyone over the internet without having to fear a broken nose or a broken rib. As opposed to former barroom brawls.

The "meek" can inherit the world at last. Not having to wear a gun or a well developped upper body. Insulting everybody without ramifications. I miss the barroom brawls.

you already lost the point of even understanding what the defininition is lmao. My presence has zero to do with the argument except i am the few left here to be realistic and aware of facts.

Want to improve your mood?

How about a simple little thing like everytime you leave your home and go out in Pattaya your goal is to make at least one thai person laugh or smile by making a joke of some sort....it's not that hard to do and may put you in  a better mood all day.  At very least I do try to at least recognize that there are a lot of Thai people who work very hard for what they have and do not live nearly as comfortable a life as I am fortunate to have.  It does help me try and keep all my whining in perspective a bit.
