The unsettling symbol quietly creeping onto US state and city flags... as fears mount over what it may represent

Dozens of cities and states have adopted – or are considering – new flag designs featuring the unfamiliar eight-point star, a symbol critics claim is more common in Islam than in US history. 

Although the geometric symbol has roots in various cultures and religions around the world, it has rarely appeared in American flag iconography, which has long favored the traditional five-point star, popularized in Betsy Ross's design of Old Glory.

'It's like this prominent symbol of Islam is suddenly flying all over the nation,' Jacqueline Toboroff, a conservative writer and author in Manhattan who ran unsuccessfully for New York City Council in 2021, told the Daily Mail.

Sharia laws are a completely ridiculous set of rules created by men that are highly insecure, and have no emotional development whatsoever, and are misogynistic to an extreme degree. They are utter failures in the game of life. They're still living in the 14th century.

 

This will never take hold in the US, there's absolutely no possibility of this happening on any level whatsoever.

Of course this doesn't mean Sharia is next. That's akin to saying that because red is a colour commonly associated with communism, having red in a state flag means you're just a step away from the state becoming communist.

Agree.  Once getting a taste of religious freedom, many Muslims, especially women,  do not favor sharia law.

I disagree.  I know of a Muslim woman who lives with her Buddhist girlfriend.  And their lesbian relationship is no secret.  Other than her abstaining from pork I would not have known.  

Islam is a cancer - pure and simple. Unlike other religions that have over time being 'modernised' - Islam is a religion that offers and accepts no compromise - it's very existence is to conquer and destroy all other religions - that is its pure and simple core tenet.  Just like a cancer than grows and conquers and destroys all cells that it comes into contact with, until it eventually kills its host - it is a abomination that should be excised from existence.

How does an Asian people thousands of kilometres away from Mecca become Muslims - by allowing too many in and not driving them out - that is how.  Over 100s of years they grew like a cancer and eventually they took over. 

 

Name one country where Muslims exist as a minority where there is not violence done in the name of Islam - particularly against Jews and Christians who they see as their mortal enemies. 

 

Allow them in and to grow at your own peril - they will never stop growing.  The Dark Ages and The Crusades were not what they teach kids these days in the woke progressive liberal schools, and how they are portrayed in the movies. The Dark Ages were when Islam had taken over large parts of Europe, and The Crusades were the killing and driving out of Muslims from Europe, and the attempt to take back from Islam the Holy City of Jerusalem and all the Holy Lands of the Bible.

Two of the world's major religions, Christianity and Buddhism, have spread far and wide.

Both have branched out into many different sects and denominations.  So has Islam.
