There are so many reasons why Trump is the wrong man for the leadership of America at this time. The world is in great need of peace, harmony and someone to unify the people of this incredibly diverse planet that we occupy. Trump is doing the exact opposite with his black heart, and hate filled rhetoric, he is dividing people on a daily basis, and he's giving permission to his supporters to display hatred, division, and animosity toward both non Americans and people of color with his coded language. He is not what is needed, and he is the exact opposite of what many of us would hope for in a good, decent, noble world leader, all the qualities that Trump does not possess.

He seems to go out of his way to stress the differences that we all have, and claim a false sense of American superiority and exceptionalism. That kind of behavior and language is not only not helpful, it's destructive, it's demeaning, it's insulting and it is driving away our friends and allies, greatly diminishing America.

At the same time he is creating a huge opening for China. Without intending to do so he seems to be building up Chinese relevance, and pushing many nations towards them, while at the same time diminishing American relevance by the day. It takes a unique and stunning level of ignorance to be able to accomplish that. Trump is Xi's wet dream.

The stock market is looking good today.  You must be happy with today’s jobs report.

Boo hoo hoo, the sky is falling, orange Hitler is going to destroy the planet. Heard this every day in his first term. And then ya all elect a warmongering, corrupt, demented patient/president. Ya all will be lucky if another democrat gets elected in the next three cycles

Could have fooled me.  Is that why these radicle judges are butting into the Executive branch with their overreaching and sandbagging the Presidents constitutional authority.

Yep. And SCOTUS has just stopped them for doing that.

Why is he doing that?

Is he is not intending to do so or is there some driving force behind this weird stance?

Ignorance. If it was mandatory to vote in the USA he would have never been elected, he appealed to the lowest common denominator and they came out of the woodwork in droves while the silent majority couldn't be bothered.

Biden or Harris is your answer? You live in a delusional world 🤨

With respect, I think your view of Trump is based more on emotion than facts.

Trump’s rhetoric may be blunt, but that’s not the same as spreading hate. Under his presidency, minority unemployment hit record lows, and the First Step Act helped many people of color. Unity doesn’t mean silence—it means hearing all voices, including those who feel ignored.

You say he’s dividing America, but that division existed long before Trump. He gave a voice to millions who felt abandoned by the political elite.

As for China, Trump actually hit them harder than any president in decades—tariffs, tech bans, pushing alliances like the Quad. If anything, Xi feared him.

You don’t have to like his style, but policy results should matter more than tone.

Exactly. When the brilliant start mutilating children's genitals, compelling girls to shower with men, and allow millions of illegal aliens to flood into the country, devastating the poorest neighborhoods, all the ignorant people that are too stupid to understand how great all those things are turn out to vote.

Yes! Yes! Yes! ❤️

But there are many more reasons than you list. 😡

What policy results? A falling Dollar, investments retreating from the USA going to the EU and Asia instead, the treasury having to borrow 540 billion Dollars in the first quarter alone only made possible by raising the interest paid by 380 basis points, farmers having to burn their crops because (a) there are no immigrant workers to harvest them and (b) because countries are turning to Canada, Brazil, Argentine, etc. for farm produce, 88% of American soy beans can't be sold because China now has long term contracts with farms in Brazil, the EU and Asia are now turning to Canada for LNG and auto parts while Canada has increased the price of electricity sold to the US by 20%. Bessant says talks with China are progressing, that's a lie, they are at a stand still, the world isn't kowtowing to America, the Eu is nudging closer to China instead. Only 54% of trade deals are being done world wide in Dollars, tendency falling, the digital Yuan is replacing swift in many countries for international payments, the Petro Dollar is dying, Saudi Arabia will take Yuan, Euros and even Rupia. Trump has diminished the standing of America with his chaos and lack of dignity.

Trump has done PERMANENT DAMAGE already to both American democracy and its economic future.

Consider his tariff insanity.

Countries around the world are adapting the the USA become totally INSANCE by creating new trade channels to replace the USA. Once set, the USA loses PERMANENTLY.

A foreign agent would be hard pressed to damage the USA so severely and so quickly as Trump 2.0 has done, and it's still early.

Not so, no other country has the means to buy what they are selling… they will all pay up. Welcome to the Golden Age.

What PERMANENT DAMAGE has Trump done to "both American democracy and its economic future."?

Unlike a lot of Republicans I am man enough to admit that we had a horrendous choice of two terrible candidates I hated Harris but I hate Trump even more. Had the Dems fielded a qualified candidate, with a wiser and more popular message, there's no doubt Trump would have lost by a wide margin. He was not the right man for the job, and you can dress a circus clown in regal garments, but he's still a circus clown.

You summarised the Trump issue pretty well, and I agree with everything you said. Just a few things you left out : Trump is extremely ignorant of just about everything, and he is intellectually extremely lazy. Again, not what one wants to have in a leader!

So how did he win, being so ignorant and intellectually lazy? It must have been that Harris was even more ignorant and intellectually lazy, yes?
