Obviously Bannoi's comment went right over your head ("to keep the protestor away") but, even if what he posted was serious, why should Trump have to pay?

If it's a State Visit, then UK needs to pay as host. But if Trump is there to golf (on holiday) and then meet with the head of the EU (of which UK is not a member), then that changes things IMO about who should pay for security.

Stunning amount Trump’s Scotland trip will cost taxpayers – largely to promote his golf courses there: report

"Donald Trump’s five-day golf trip to Scotland is expected to cost U.S. taxpayers millions of dollars, according to a new report.

The president departed Joint Base Andrews in Maryland aboard Air Force One on Friday morning, hoping to leave behind the MAGA firestorm around his administration’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein case.

After an estimated 43 golf trips in the first six months of his second term, Trump’s Scottish visit for the opening of a new course, being billed as “the greatest 36 holes” in the sport, is expected to cost about $9.7 million, according to an analysis by HuffPost."

The 'Huffpost'..............Well as they have less cred than CNN which have Zero and No 2025 GAO or White House data verifies the  cost, well its a speculative guess!

I see the usual Trump haters are out, but I think there is one thing we can all agree on, that is what Trump is saying about the 'migrants'?

DONALD Trump said the "invasion" of migrants is "killing" Europe as he told the leaders to "get their act together" after landing in the UK.

Hopefully he can convince Starmer and others but I doubt it!......🫢

Starmer has his head in the sand, sadly!

I understand that the forthcoming State Visit is to feature the unveiling of the statues of three notable US Presidents in Parliament Square:

George Washington - he never told a lie, Richard Nixon - he never told the truth, Donald Trump - he couldn't tell the difference!

The Power of the Trump Effect equates to WINNING. How about that haters. Now do Biden, you know, that drooling demented fool that needs cue cards to speak and find his seat and gets lost on a stage and shakes hands with the air.

Looks like a great deal for America courtesy of your favorite and high achieving POTUS. Saving money for tax payers by using Trumps own venue. Total win for all involved.

There is no scenario where a serving US President would be required to pay for security while on vacation. It's just an absurd suggestion.

However - on this so-called vacation Trump pulled off the biggest trade deal in history -

I'm not suggesting Trump should pay. The US should pay - he's their president and he's on holiday and he needs security so it's up to them to pay if it's not a State Visit. Certainly not the British taxpayers. It's a private visit.

You obviously can't differentiate between a left wing rag like the Huffpost and a non biased reliable news source like say Reuters, or AFP, even the Wall Street journal.

And with a swing second only to Jack Newton with a blindfold I’m sure that he’ll once again take out player of the day at all of HIS courses.

This is the hilarious moment Trump's golf caddy appears to surreptitiously drop the ball in a prize spot before the president takes a shot. Two golf caddies are seen walking next to Trump who is driving in a golf cart.

They then walk ahead and one is seen discreetly dropping the golf ball to the ground.

Trump then gets out of the vehicle and approaches it, appearing to pretend it's the shot he made.

Comments reacting to the sly move.

One said: 'Caddy did that so smoothly. Can only imagine how many times he's done it.'

Another commented: 'Trump's notorious golf cheating, like having his caddy secretly drop balls to fake perfect shots, exposes a shameless pattern of deceit that erodes any claim to integrity or leadership.'

The Trump venue required security by 1,500 UK police and military personnel due to large area. Approx cost to UK tax payer $15 million with "free advertising" for Trump owned venue. Don't know US security costs. but would not be insignificant. How much is it costing US tax payers for Trump's weekend visits to his golf clubs in the US? You will not know actual benefits, if any,  to US economy for a couple of years

Yes but to those under the spell of the fascist maga cult, he's their truly low scumbag. But the joke's on them. He's only about himself.

It's not a vacation. The main purpose was to promote his own business ventures and to bring more profit to him personally. For that portion of the trip, morally and ethically, Trump shouldn't be doing such a corrupt thing in the first place, but we're beyond that with him, so he should personally pay. Of course he won't.

Pay attention haters and leave a comment in support of Trump WINNING for America while improving his golf game.
