Well yes, when you present logical fallacies that have a Latin name it’s pretty well sure that you are engaging in the kind of nonsense that has been recognized for centuries, if not millennia.

Try playing the ball not the man.

Give it a a go.

Getting rid of the nutjobs who are running Israel would help even more.

  • They aren't nutjobs, they have stolen a lot of land from Palestine and are war criminals, and they are the only reason why Hamas exists

  • That land is occupied for security reasons as time and time again when land was returned, muslim violence started again.  After all it is their goal to push Israel into the sea.

I have met a couple of decent Palestinian's but that is by the by. Why is it if they are so good the Arab nations will not accept them into their countries?

  • When Germany invaded France, Poland, etc., local resistance fighters:

    • Sabotaged, ambushed, and killed Germans

    • Blew up bridges, assassinated Nazi collaborators

    • Were often celebrated later as heroes by the West

  • Today, the French and Polish resistance are seen as legitimate defenders of their homeland.

After 1948, many Palestinians were displaced having their land forcibly taken from them (about 700,000 in the Nakba, or “catastrophe”).

  • Over time, Palestinians began armed resistance, especially after:

    • 1967: Israel occupied the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem.

  • Some groups, like the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) were created to fight back

  • Their actions are labeled “terrorism” by Israel, the U.S., and much of the West.

So we decide who are terrorists or not, double standards it seems.

The US in its support of Isreal who are killing women and child by the thousands at the moment are not terrorists it seems.

Let them be recognised, give their land back to them and end this war created by the West.

The puerile use of bold fonts does not make your assertion any less ridiculous.

Did the heroic WW II resistance fighters shoot unarmed civilians and take hostages?  Hamas have been rightfully branded terrorists due to their actions.

Wild 'whataboutery' to try and draw parallels to WW II heroes or highlight the wrongs by Israel do not change the evil perpetrated on Oct 7th.

Only naive, virtue signalling, failing politicians and Internet trolls could be taken in by the Hamas use of the long suffering people of Palestine to try to get sympathy from the weak willed.

I understood the plight of the Palestinians pre Oct 7, and a wise move by Hamas would have been something like a mass, televised hunger strike.  If you're going to sacrifice your women and children anyway, make it count.

Now all they can do is experience the 'righteous might' of Israel as they allowed hate to drive their actions.

canada even gets a mention here by our master historian

Hamas and its allies would still want to wipe Israel off the map though.

Without bothering to look up your quotes, I would venture to guess that quite a few of them refer to Trump and MAGA as being rather brilliant, which is quite comical.

Carney is smart. He has already outwitted Trump several times in six short months. Canada is replacing the US with multiple trade partners, they're finding buyers for their oil, their superb lumber, their steel and many of their other commodities and ignoring the US, and shunning the US like a clever nation should.

When Carney was at the Bank of England he was known as the invisible man. When he left there was no trace of him ever having been there.

Liberals backing terrorists, so what else is new?

James is right on this, not  just the resistance fighters, but the British airforce itself killled 20,000 civilians in Hamburg in 1943 in one day, a death toll similar to the total number of dead in Sachsenhausen concetration camp for the entire duration of the war.

After the war the "heroic resistance" beat up lone women and tortured children and old women in one of the largest ethnic cleansings the world has ever seen.

The Internet offered you an opportunity to parade your ignorance and you grabbed it with both hands.

You can insult him all you want if it makes you feel good but the reality is that he's outsmarting Trump at every turn. And Canada is doing a remarkable job of finding alternative markets for its precious commodities.

And the US and Trump are doing nothing but shooting themselves in the foot with their ridiculous policies in alienation of close allies.

UK has not recognised it yet and hopefully never will

He has even offered an apology for his remarks about a Two Party State, I think the voters will be happy to not tee off the USA President.    Shout it from the mountain tops ‘Free Palestine” but once it hits them in the bank account - they tend to turn around.

I bow to your superior knowledge. To me it appears Trump is doing ok, but I'm not an American. I am clear on one thing though, as a Brit, that is that Carney was less than impressive at the B of E. That's not intended as an insult, for all I know he's a really nice guy, just a statement of fact.

Canada is a weak, dysfunctional country that is only good at taxing you to death. Their words mean nothing.  By the way, take a look at that woman's face behind Carney.  That says a lot...

But ultimately, Canadian voters deserve Carney.

Richest Countries in 2025

The richest country in the world in 2025, based on Gross Domestic Product (GDP), is the United States. Here are the top five countries:

Rank Country GDP (Million USD) Population GDP per Capita (USD)
1 United States 28,781,000 339,996,563 84,648
2 China 18,532,000 1,425,671,352 12,999

  India 3,567,550 1,438,069,596 2481

Why not recognise same-sex marriages in countries where homosexuality is a crime? That would surely help.

What is missing from your topic?

Now much debt those countries owe.

It is no use having the highest per capita income in the world, if you owe more than you earn and live on credit.

However, Canada's recognition is contingent upon democratic reforms such as the Palestinian Authority holding elections without Hamas involvement.

Nothing about returning the hostages then?  Seems the poor sausages are not factored in when it comes to virtue signalling on the international stage.

When Palestine is a state does that mean they will have to:

1. Feed and pay for food themselves.

2. Generate and pay for their own electricity, water, gas etc.

What do they produce there to pay for this?  Do they have any skills that are not tunnel building, rocket making, begging for aid or Jew raping/slaughtering/killing?  What are they going to do to support themselves or is the plan to continue to depend on their neighbors in Israel for this whilst at the same time wanting them all dead?  I suppose Egypt and Jordan will continue to not need to help out their Palestinian neighbors and use the "not a jewish country free pass" that applies to all countries (good or evil) except Israel.

Excellent post , very well said, and exposes another unpalatable truth, another " elephant in the room" as they say

I guess the UK pensioners can look forward to further reductions in their pensions and those lucky enough to be working will enjoy some tax increases. It won't bother the "activists" currebtly pi$$ing the rest of the population off with their virtue signalling support, most of whom have never done a days work in their lives,  as the triple lock will probably be transferred to their welfare benefits

Yes, I told many people, and posted it online, even here on AseanNow Forums. 🙂

Yes, many people cared. Most of them disagreed with it, and some were very insulted by it. 😞Now, it seems like this recognition of Palestine's rights is becoming more accepted.

See the two posts above, were they anymore capable of supporting themselves back then or was it something you personally intended to contribute to?

Let the Israelis finish the job of getting rid of the current and potential future wronguns  and let them take over the whole region.

Those left can then fall into line and become Israeli citizens   Its the Israeli's problem from  then on

Problem solved, now where is my nobel prize
