My hair is going blond

Really?  My sister had brown hair and hers went white - very white - in her late sixties.

Quite probably due to a medical condition. Deficiencies in iron, vitamin B-12 or D-3 can reduce the amount of melanin (pigment) in your hair follicles, causing the growth of non-pigmented or white hairs.

Strange, me my younger brother and father had light brown hair, older brother was blond, mother slightly red.

Now at 58 I'm going blond, is this normal or? Sign of something else, gray at the sides blond on top.

Looks great but worry it's a medical condition @Sheryl

My hair is also getting blond...:whistling: Some says that it's due to the Sun – i.e., sunlight – now I'm just hoping my gray (or white) hair also will become blond, so I can remain fairly young and attractive among the girls...😉

Will I be able to play guitar and join a band?

Indeed – that's the whole purpose of long blond hair... – just do like me: Let it grow, and don't tie it up, and buy some fancy guitars to show you're a rock musician...

My brother had red hair when he got older and his hair turned yellowish

Google.

One of the many facts about redheads is that their hair will never turn grey.

I had red hair as a child, started bleaching it platinum blonde when I was about 15, kept it blonde into my late 30's, went back to natural and it grew back red and is now grey.

The hair downstairs, if I let it grow, is still red.

Typo. No more spell check.

This can also be the result of swimming in a pool very recently treated with copper sulfate against algae.......

I'm proud to be Platinum

All natural hair colors—whether black, brown, blonde, red, or anything in between—eventually go grey or white over time. This is a universal biological process driven by changes in pigment production.

I was fortunate in that mine went silver.

But Silver goes GREY In time !!
