President Vladimir Putin has boldly declared that Russia is ready to use military force to achieve all its goals in Ukraine. Putin's statement was issued while visiting China, following a grand military parade seen as a show of strength against global opposition. Despite efforts from US President Donald Trump to mediate, Putin remains steadfast in his stance.

 

Recently in Beijing, Putin expressed his willingness to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, but insisted any meeting be properly prepared to yield results. He suggested Zelensky could visit Moscow, a notion quickly dismissed by Ukraine's foreign minister as unsuitable. This comes as Ukraine's president pushes Trump for sanctions against Russia and seeks stronger defences.

 

Trump, in discussions with Putin in Alaska, attempted to negotiate peace without success, while indicating that more actions against Moscow are in the works. He notably dismissed critics highlighting the secondary sanctions imposed on India for its Russian oil purchases, hinting at further measures yet to unfold, reported the BBC.

 

The intensifying situation sees the UK and allies preparing to enhance military aid to Ukraine and economic pressure on Russia. Defence Secretary John Healey mentioned the recycling of £1 billion (about 54 billion thai baht) of seized Russian assets into military support for Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Coalition of the Willing, convened by the French president, aims to rally US support for Ukraine's security guarantees and a ceasefire proposition.

 

The ongoing conflict saw a recent escalation, with Russian forces launching over 500 drones and multiple missiles in one night. Putin reiterates his demands for Ukraine's neutrality regarding Nato and stresses no intention to give up the seized Donbas region. He emphasises that any future peace agreement would exclude these areas following controversially conducted votes.

 

As the situation develops, the international community remains on edge, with peace talks appearing elusive. Allies continue to strategise support for Ukraine, balancing diplomatic efforts with military preparedness in anticipation of Putin's next move.

It's known by everybody with half a brain that Putin will continue his military advance until his goals are achieved or Zylenkyy buckles and hands over the oblasts, the latter being the less likely.

And you base this on what? Legacy media? There is no way Putin can take the entirity of Ukraine and then go marching into NATO countries.

Yet most of Europe is now arming up to their teeth with German military openly saying this was "the last summer of peace", and Baltic nations + Poland fortifying borders with Russia and Belarus, including moving nuclear arsenal to Russian borders, while Medvedev threatens whole Europe with nuclear annihilation

Because the fools who are running the West want war! Give the Donbas to Russia. It's mostly Russian speaking anyway. They can have the fn place. The US freaked during the Cuban missile crisis. Why shouldn't Russia be concerned with NATO's creep to their borders? (over the last 30 yrs). 

Putin signalled a military path and willingness to meet Zelensky while in Beijing with Xi. That is a slap in the face for Trump who just held a red carpet meeting with nothing to show. It is a diplomatic embarrassment and humiliation on the international stage on Trump.

Hmm, OK ... no NATO missiles in Unkraine (like withdrawal of Russian millet from Cuba). Then Cuba remained allied with Russia and Ukraine can be allied with NATO?

Ukraine now has to cut the oil pipelines from Siberia so the wells freezes over and leaves Russia with NOTHING to export. They would NOT survive that. I guess the new missles in Ukraine could reach those areas? 🙄

Because there are no NATO nukes in Ukraine? 

Ukraine must be given the tools it needs to drive the invaders out. Long range weapons to turn Moscow and St. Petersburg into high risk areas, just like Putin is doing in Kyiv.

Hopefully this will inspire enemies of Putin to check his flying abilities.
