Hello. I am moving to Phuket in October. Looking for a Studio Apartment or similar.

Budget 10,000 Baht. Would like within walking distance of a beach.

I used to think I’d like to live in Phuket again, until I visited last year, place is now Looney Toons with tourists.  Good luck  finding something that cheap anywhere on the Island, then again, I am not real estate saavy on Phuket rentals.   I’d look elsewhere, but that is just me.

Only during the high season, which is fairly short.

or hire an agent

or just go around on a scooter and ask the prices when you see a building you like if you're there

find an apt complex on google maps and call

Otherwise thru the high season...ur best bet would be Patong, but its going to be a long walk

I live here year round ( an have for decades)  and as long as one does not need to commute more than 5kms from where u live, it's all fine

You might consider off the island there is some lovely beaches, as cross over Sarasin bridge, Khok Kloi Natai beach, in the past couple of years there hase been a few farang moved up there, and Khao Lak,

Define 'walking' distance, 100m, 500m, 1 km, < 3km, and simple cycling distance will give you more options, as 10k won't get much, especially on Phuket.

Swimming in, or looking at, East, South or West side.

Somewhere North of the airport 🤔
