Not so hard to catch, I was expecting 2 days, and it was 24 hours! 😄

now a days CCTV cameras are everywhere, they are definitely amateurs robbers wannabe, no way part of a large gang.

Good they were caught, I hope they stay in Thai Jail for a long time.

  • obvious , at least to me, that they had to have known him or at the least seen him at some time close up, to have known he had the watch This is not some random attack

  • Tough lesson to learn the hard way. DON'T flaunt that kind of bling here.

  • It could also be a copywatch from Mr Wong and then again it could also be an insurance scam

lock these idiot up then when released deport and ban them from Thailand permanently

Take a real close look, at family and friends.

Most criminals would think it's just a fake watch.

So not worth the risk. :whistling:

All that to sell and split the proceeds of a 2 million baht watch?

Abandoning a 1 million Baht vehicle in the process. Selling a serial numbered gold watch for less than 2 million and sharing the proceeds between four? Theft, as a motive, makes no sense. More to come on this. In the image above showing the four perps on the pavement, the guy on the left seems to find humour in situation.

Witnesses reported that at least three vehicles were involved in the chase, suggesting a coordinated operation.

So was the white vehicle there to block traffic as well as the blue Everest and what was the third vehicle ?

Surely they would probably all have followed each other after the robbery to go dump the Everest, so possibly all cars caught on CCTV and maybe more people still not caught .

From looking at the vehicle photo there are 3 cars so I'm guessing they were all used and they got everyone 👍

Name me a country where you can still wear it safely.

I think Thailand and Bangkok is the safest place to wear a genuine, because 99% of foreigners wear fakes... Nobody blinks an eye at your Rolex, Omega or Patek... everyone wears one.

Ramming a motorcycle, could be classed as attempted murder.  Threatening behaviour with a knife..........could incite a heart attack and possible death........DEATH PENALTY FOR THIS SCUM!

As someone else mentioned, the robbers clearly knew him, and would have met him somewhere whilst he was wearing the watch and clocked him for the job. Could be an insurance scam, never know... but they knew him for sure, not random, or had met him in a bar or maybe a woman involved for intel (wouldn't suprise me), and probably also knew of his situation and movements.

Philippe Patek? is this a Thai replica? It's Patek Philippe  if it's an original!

Guns = screwed 😂

Enjoy jail 👍

On September 18/2025 a 40 year old American lawyer riding his motorcycle on Layan Soi 7 Cherng Talay, Thalang District, Phuket, was rammed by a car before being threatened at gunpoint and knifepoint. The assailants robbed him of his luxury watch worth 2.3 million baht

Phuket police swiftly tracked down and arrested all four suspects identified as British nationals:

 1. MR. HUSSAIN, 26

 2. MR. MIR, 25

 3. MR. YANNE, 25

 4. MR. MALIQUE KAI, 27

They were apprehended at a luxury villa near the Cherng Talay Subdistrict Administrative Office. Police seized three vehicles, two firearms, and the stolen watch as evidence.

Death sentence fully warranted.   Threatened at gunpoint and knifepoint

Actually no comment necessary.

This incident could happen everywhere.

Usual suspect misses the point as usual - the comments are regarding the possibility that this incident was probably not what it would first appear, that being a random robbery but one that was well planned and coordinated, where the perpetrators knew the victim, knew he was wearing a genuine article and prepared to lose a high value Ford Explorer in their execution of the plan.

"and spoke fluent English, suggesting they were foreign nationals."

And no accent perceived or mentioned, to point out nationality.

Suggesting they were foreign nationals.... but typically creating a 'mental image' of the type of foreign national...

Hope they find these guys, so that any 'mental image' can be dissipated, and replaced with an 'actual image'.

A poster has already mentioned the arrest of four British nationals with Anglo-Saxsub Saharan names so there is your ‘mental image’ and as Newbee informs, ‘this could happen anywhere’ so he is absolutely correct for once - happens all the time in Sarf Landan innit.

Hong Kong, Mainland China, Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia and all the Gulf States for starters

I feel a bit safer now , as I wear my €100 Seiko and just leave my €40,000 watch (😉) at home.

It is only my opinion but it seems wherever one goes in the world, there are more thieves and opportunists ready and willing to steal what others have.  Poor  or relatively poor people (as suggested) are not usually those thieves or opportunists even in Phuket and Pattaya. In any event, what's the point of having such valuables if you cant wear them?

Well you can wear them, but you wear them judiciously, you wear them to special events, you wear them to indoor events, you don't wear them walking down the street at night here. Period. Never. That's just asking for it.

Well to be exact, the first time you are caught thieving and found guilty, they chop of your right hand, if caught again, then its the other one!

Brits Hussain Meer, 26, Mir Wayne Carew, 25, Yanne Sarkawt, 25, and Malique Kai Walters, 27, allegedly knocked Ibrahim Iyun to the ground before emerging from an SUV in Phuket on Thursday.
