  • Don't worry about the posters using the red thumb down, they're just losers the best I can ascertain. They're hunched over their laptop in their 25M hellhole with no relief in sight.

  • Are you crying out for attention?

  • Only the best most truthful posts are worthy of the thumbs down. If your post doesnt get at least 10 thumbs down you need to try harder

We should have a "Red Thumbs Down" monthly leader-board.

Its unfortunate but I feel as a community member I had to write this

Spending a whole day in my room writing complaints

The Red down thumb

I noticed some people are overusing it possibly making posters feel uncomfortable

Could I perhaps ask the person doing it to have some dignity and respect and be aware many of us suffer PTSD myself not only being attacked by a ladyboy but also a monkey earlier this year up in Lopburi where I was slapped on the back of the head and despite Lopburi police department being a big police station I wasnt taken seriously and forced them to finally send a patrol car out there .

So I may repeat about the use of the Red down thumb please it can cause posters anxiety and even depression

I wonder why you are so interested about any emojis?

If people would have something to say they would write a comment.

Only cowards or those with issues use emojis.

Perhaps there should be a limit of two or three a day per user, then if you post a lot then it won’t seem like much.

ONLY ONE, per day, should be the LIMIT.

Also, one must APPLY to the TV-Forum Authority to buy the one emoji for use, every time one wants to use one.

When applying for an emoji, then one will need to fill out a form, including reasons for use, anticipated impact, in other words an impact statement, etc.

The reason the ThumbDown is so infuriating is that it is used anonymously and there is NO EXPLANATION required.

Therefore, pretty useless and unhelpful, not to mention POINTLESS.

It requires a very weird personality to take pleasure in spreading the ThumbDown Emoji across the forum, apparently pretty much at random.

And, what kind of a SICK-MIND would do something like this?

Horrible, really.

Thumbs down from me, I'm not cowardly, I can do both.

tomorrow it will he thought he was going to get beaten to a pulp by an elderly blind lady and so in retaliation to the threat he punched in the mouth, she fell and broke her hip.

Who or what is that ?

This is a hypothetical authority managed by the owners of TV, the TV-Forum Authority, which oversees the distribution of EMOJI QUOTAS.

The authority issues a license to forum members for use of emojis.

THUMBDOWN Emojis are doled out in a responsible way to members who are neither drunk nor suffering from treatable/untreatable psychological disorders.

You know.

And, I know you know.

And, you know that I know you know.

In fact, everybody knows.

This is a known known.

I believe it's to keep you off the leaderboard.

Popular posters appear to lose position by thumbs downs.

So the lefties club together, arranged by PM or email, to make sure they win the daily popularity contest.

Obviously they can't beat Ballpoint, who wins every day just by posting silly jokes he collects on the internet.

But if you want to keep Tug, BLM, Will B, Harris, etc. off the charts, you need to give them plenty of thumbs down every time they post.

To be fair, I give and receive plenty of thumbs down, and because I'm not cowardly, I even post that I've made them.

I see you're number 2 now , ok , good for you.

Who cares about the leaderboard ?

well, we do know you have either A; a drug addiction issue or B; an untreated mental health issue.

Reporting a thumbs down is pretty childish , even on an entirely innucuous post.

reporting anything is beyond the pale

Not always.

If we can't "misspell" names , neither can others (lefties).

Only the ones without any skin on their nose. How do you feel?

No.

You are merely reporting a known unknown.

Thank you Genrikh. Now I understand why you gave all my replies to your posts thumbs down.😀

I for one would like the Moderator to explain what the emoji’s definitions are

The Thumbs Down emoji….is it thumbs down to the answer someone gives, is it thumbs down for the whole post, is it (as I suspect, being used to only harrase someone - it is obvious someone is using it discredit certain people, you can see thumbs down on dang near every post some people make

I don't think there have been any peer reviewed studies to determine what the emojis really mean.  In this day and age... they mean whatever you think they mean but you must provide an approved link.

Holy moly - that earned me 16 red thumbs. I was just kidding but looks like I was right after all.

Let's test it out. Trump is a good POTUS because he acts on his promised policies and has the balls to do things like bomb Iran's nuke facilities. Time now to bring on the trolling thumb down emojis. Get rid of this emoji. It's more than not just used by trollers. A few members on here spring to mind. What really needs to happen is get rid of the anonomyzer. Thums down emoji will virtually dissapear.
