A Chinese tourist sustained injuries after falling from the third floor of a hotel near Bali Hai Pier, South Pattaya, early on October 19, 2025. Rescue workers from the Sawang Boriboon Thammasathan Foundation and Pattaya City Police responded to the incident at around 04.35, following reports of a man falling from height. The tourist, believed to be aged between 30 and 40, suffered multiple abrasions on his body and broken left leg and was taken to hospital for urgent treatment.

Witnesses said the man appeared intoxicated, incoherent and was not a registered guest at the hotel. According to hotel staff, the man had entered the premises in a highly agitated state, pleading for someone to call the police before running up to the third floor. Moments later, he attempted to climb over the balcony in an apparent effort to escape but slipped and fell despite efforts by staff to stop him.

Hotel employee Nattaphon, 38, told officers the injured man seemed terrified and was acting irrationally, as if fleeing from someone. Another employee, security guard Wichai, 59, reported seeing the man arrive moments earlier in a white car with a Thai woman. Wichai said the woman explained that they had not argued but that the man had been drinking with friends, before suddenly running into the hotel. She then drove away after speaking to the guard.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Parnsan Khrongsit, deputy inspector of Pattaya City Police Station, recorded the scene for evidence and coordinated with investigators to determine the cause of the incident. Authorities are now working to confirm the man’s identity and clarify whether any criminal or personal issues prompted his erratic behaviour.

The injured tourist remains under medical care, and police are expected to question him once he is sober and stable. Investigators are also reviewing CCTV footage from the hotel to trace his movements before the fall and to identify and verify the woman’s account of events.

What a mad man! Seems like Chinese and Israelis are dominating the problem factor in Thailand together with the always mad Indians.

You've changed your tune. Normally you are just blaming anything and everything on the Brits.

Keep your narrative consistent otherwise people may not take you seriously and might think you are a tad biased........

Nah, I think you got it wrong. Sure, Brits are almost always in the news, but it was a long time ago I posted that they dominate. I never said that Israelis, Indians and Chinese are not, and I didn't post that Brits dominate. So, how are you going to respond to that, my dear Watson?

After that, never make a joke about my name again. that makes you kind of daft.

He was last heard screaming, "It's a man!"

Drugs, alcohol, mental issues.... who knows.

I wouldn't be paranoid if all these people weren't after me....

Must have been out of his gourd.

Otherwise, if he were in his right mind, then....

How very odd...!
