A viral video showing a homeless couple engaging in a sexual act outside a closed beer bar in Pattaya has sparked public outrage and prompted swift action from local authorities. The 37-second clip, filmed on Soi Buakhao, captured the couple behaving indecently in daylight as bystanders reacted in shock. The footage quickly spread across social media, leading to concerns.

 

The incident occurred on October 15 at around 10.50 outside a bar owned by Aomsroy Matwiset, known locally as “Sister Aom.” The bar was closed at the time and the front was secured. Aomsroy said she only learned of the incident after her staff informed her that a video of the event, including her phone number, had gone viral on TikTok. She described receiving numerous distressing calls from strangers and expressed dismay that such behaviour had occurred outside her premises.

 

When she attempted to report the matter, police confirmed that she bore no responsibility. Officers clarified that those involved in the act, as well as the individual who recorded and distributed the video, were the ones liable for any wrongdoing. Since the bar was not operational during the incident and the couple were not staff or customers, Aomsroy decided not to pursue a formal complaint.

 

Later, Aomsroy spotted the same couple lingering near her bar and contacted Pattaya City’s special hotline, 1337, which handles local issues. City officials responded swiftly, arriving at the scene and detaining the pair. Authorities reported that both individuals appeared incoherent, suggesting mental instability. They were subsequently transferred to appropriate welfare agencies for further assessment and assistance.

 

The incident adds to a growing list of public indecency cases in Pattaya. Authorities are expected to maintain surveillance in the area and strengthen social outreach efforts, including temporary shelters and medical care for vulnerable individuals, to prevent future disturbances.

Obviously, there are mental and health issues here, BUT I am confused how you can have sex when you're fully clothed.

Yeah that picture they show I don’t think they’re having sex fully close obviously there may be a mentor or Health problem which I don’t know if Thailand really has appropriate means to handle that TIT
