Two Indian tourists have reported being robbed of over 50,000 baht by a woman they met at Pattaya Beach, prompting a police investigation. The alleged theft occurred in the early hours of 23 October 2025 inside a hotel room on Soi Beach Road 13/4. The victims, Mr. Anower, aged 52 and Mr. Hasan, aged 38, filed a complaint with Pattaya City Police at around 01:05.

According to their statements, provided through an interpreter, the pair met the woman while walking along the beach and were reportedly captivated by her charm. They invited her to their hotel room to relax and socialise. During the visit, the woman asked to use the bathroom and, after returning, allegedly initiated a brief argument before leaving the room.

Shortly afterward, the men realised that cash in both Thai and foreign currencies, amounting to more than 50,000 baht, had disappeared from their belongings. They immediately contacted the police to report the incident.

Pattaya City Police officers responded and began reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the suspect. However, preliminary findings indicate that nearby cameras did not capture clear images of the woman entering or leaving the premises. Investigators are now working with hotel management and nearby businesses to locate additional footage or witnesses.

Authorities have stated that the investigation remains ongoing and that legal proceedings will be pursued once the suspect is identified. Police have urged tourists to exercise caution when inviting strangers to private rooms, as similar theft cases have been reported in entertainment and beach areas of Pattaya.

Don't you mean to add women also?? This OP is not about ladyboys.

Seems these women are somewhat smarter than the ladyboys. They managed to avoid cameras showing them clearly.

I do not understand these Indians though. If i have a woman picked up on the street and bring her with me to my room. I would for sure be constantly watching her and wary of where my money is kept. As well as making sure they could not access it without my knowledge. Seems Indians are more likely to throw there cash on the table and forget about it until it is too late.

You would think by now all those coming to Thailand looking for hookers would know to lock up the valuables. The bathroom isn't a good place to hide money, if that's where they left it.

It seems to take a while with them.

Gold necklace robberies were an item for quite a spell before they caught on not to wear them!

What does the incoranse companies do about the Indians, surele they must know it's a scam??

Temptation is often times the mother of many crimes, and like you said the first thing you do is lock up your valuables.  Back in the day I used to wait until she used the bathroom and then I would put all my valuables in my suitcase with a secure lock, out of sight, out of mind.

If she were to look for look around she wouldn't find anything except the 2000 baht I left tucked under the mattress, or left in my shorts, for when I was done.

Insurance companies will soon stop all claims in thailand for indians if this keeps up surely

The police station has a special desk dealing with Indian victims; there's always a long queue round the block.

What I don't understand is how both guys, after negotiating a threesome price, took their eyes off her long enough for her to find the money and filch it?

These two are a bit slow - they forgot to add a couple of (very heavy) gold necklaces that were 'stolen'

I would be surprised if they paid out the inflated claims for stolen cash..... especially under the scenario of some street lady/maybe being brought into the room and left alone with belongings!

A good reporter would has said “alleged woman”… :coffee1:

Someone should suggest to the Pattaya Plod that it would cost effective if they had an officer actively patrolling this Coconut avenue killing field, rather than require desk bodies filling in endless reports,

What a pair of donkeys. If you must dabble with dirty street walkers, use short time rooms, leave big monies in banks—use ATMs, use your brain—keep an eye on strangers, have some common sense!

Exactly, unless the hid the money in the toiler cistern

What are these infamous "insurances" that so many are hallucinating about?

Theft insurance for cash and gold???

If I understood it right then it were TWO Indians with her.

How dump must they be?

Just scan the QR Code she(?) has had tattooed onto her ass, no need for cash!

I swear some guys leave their brains on the tarmac or are their brains in theirs knobs? some years ago me and the wife built some bungalow rooms for rent on a piece of land we had, I remember we had two young Aussie guys here training Muay Thai, one morning one of them calls me asking can I help him, what's up? he's took some pussy from a bar back to the room and she's robbed him for 40,000 Baht, can I help him, I put a safe in the room why didn't you use it? She must have known it was there as she got up early while he was lying there pi$$ed in bed, because I saw her walking down the soi but I didn't think anything of it, The bar she worked at she done one that day, 40,000 wouldn't last her long, I bet there is many stories that never get reported.

You would think that might be of some help in identifying her, when they're done with their CCTV viewing they can nip round to her TM30 reported address.

These Indians are really going through the meat grinder with the girls.

Just imagine, hundreds of millions of gold clad suckers with silly mustaches lining up to get scammed along the beach. Word is going out to even the most remote villages in Isaan about this new gold rush.

Strange that hardly ever the bar girls rob anybody, this is what happens to cheapskates .... 🙄

Yes, you would think that this kind of thing, the gold neck chains, being stolen and the scamming etc would be reported in the Indian news, or at least in social media?

Hold on I have to get a refund from a payment I never made. Wait now I have to send crypto or gift cards because he refunded to much.

Definitely front page of news, Scams everywhere.

Two guys, allegedly distracted while one women relieves them of a nice sum of money.  Maybe I'm wrong but seems a little suspicious two guys wouldn't be watching their new lady friend while she enriches herself.
