Nice and green now? No more floods?

Torrential rain one day, sunny next day.

Cooler dryer days ahead. The rain is just about done with, snakes and creepy crawlers are starting to come out more, it’s usually a good indicator.

Susan once had one, but then stropped making the monthly payments on the arrangement and that was the end of that.

Snow expected in the coming days. Well, that's what Bob is predicting 🤣

Khao Soi with a chance of ladyboys in the evening. Overnight road wrecks, with a haze of PM2.5 ash covering the entire sky at sunrise. Tomorrow should be mostly soi dog squamishes with a smattering of backpackers huddled in restaurants picking at their minging toes at dusk. Expect intermittent tuk tuk gusts through the Old City. Late night scooter swirls are likely, with confused tourists drifting across lanes like lost geckos.

Chang Mai is fat better a choice,. Far better then Hua Hin for instance that is overpriced, you get cheated on anything to everything, they over charge for everything. it's dull, filthy beaches,  nothing much to do and full of retired drunkards who seem lost and mingle only within their peers.

C'mon, what's the downside? You've talked it up enough. Surely there are some negatives?

I was in the city tonight and went with my wife to Accha Indian in Nimman (highly recommend( then to visit her friends massage shop (owners are both gay the the only clients were two gay married men). That place is an absolute zoo. Terrible traffic and very annoying drive trying to navigate all the madness. The heat gets trapped in there but still would feel nice if you were coming from Hua Hin.

I used to live 100 steps away. Even being spoiled in Bangkok, I still put Accha up with the best of them. With their tandoori expertise, you can even put together a healthy Indian meal there.

I hear the beef steak there is amazing.

Now in the mornings it feels a little bit like fall where I’m from in the USA. Soon the hordes of Thai tourists will arrive jamming up the streets.

Not at all like that here in Sankamphaeng.  Cooler a tad, sunny almost every day all day. pollution less than BKK for sure.

No pollution now. It rained pretty hard a couple mornings ago and pretty cloudy up until after that last rain.

Nimman rd always busy. Good food though.
