November 23, 2025Nov 23 You mean without dying? I could stand to lose a lot, and still not dye, even though this would cause me to become skin and bones, and to slip into a coma, probably.
November 23, 2025Nov 23 My comeback to anyone who asked or noted I had lost weight was to ask in return if they had found the aforementioned pounds. Dirty looks followed.

I see how wrong this was formulated, No Im not going down to 3-4% body fat, but down 3-4 % to 14 - 15 percent body fat, and see if Im cutting a couple more 😄 12 - 15% body fat is quite healthy and manageable without to much sacrifices. Below 10% is quite extreme for a guy who will be 60 in a few years.

November 23, 2025Nov 23 58 yo - 71 kg and stay between 6%-10% body fat the last 15 years. Don't deviate much other than a couple accidents that took some time to recover. I feel best around 9% body fat but run faster when closer to 6%. I watched a youtube video that broke down the USA population by body fat. For those that fall below 15%, you are in the top 1% if I remember right.

There are different BMI ranges for ethnicities, Thais for example have lower BMIs in the overweight and obese range

November 24, 2025Nov 24 When I see all those retirees gobbling their fish n ships, Sunday roasts full of pork and deep fried bacon, fries, abuse of meat on a daily basis, excess of mayonnaise sauce and all the booze....one could assume that weight loss or plainly wanting to live longer and to enjoy the retirement years, are not on their agenda. Cheers 🤣

It happened earlier this year in Spain, Portugal and France for a day or two I think. Anyway, I keep enough cash on hand at home to cover for a couple of weeks, in case of an emergency, and I have it spread over about four different currencies, just in case.

November 27, 2025Nov 27 Just turned 70. About 95kg. One doctor tells me to get down to 80kg. Another tells me not to walk or stand too much due to knees nearly worn out. He said swim or cycle. Winter in Chiang Mai so a bit cold, need to find heated pool. Cycle? No thanks in CM. I don't eat a lot just the wrong foods.
