It's nothing sensational, but I was impressed by being in the bank and seeing that all the people who were withdrawing money (6), none of them used the ATM, but only the QR code: I, with my miserable ATM card, felt different. Unfortunately, even if inevitable, I am against all this digitalization and, as long as I can, I will use the old card method.

What is your problem with using the phone to withdraw money instead of the ATM card? It saves on the inter provincial banking fee.

I like scan pay too, it’s slow because the apps are not well optimized. In China it’s faster than cash. It’s also a great way to avoid tipping, which is a barbaric American practice.

Yes, same as the ladies looking for the telephone in the bottom of the handbag.

Because the banking app. is needed and I don't want to use it.

Cash or scan. Why do so many wait until the total bill is announced before they start rummaging for their phone or purse?

So you think your card is analog, not digital?

I've never liked putting a card into an ATM. Too many horror stories of skimming and of ATMs swallowing the card.

I like the cardless withdrawal option and I've been using it ever since they introduced it.

I lost my bank card during the pandemic and went almost a year without a replacement. It really saved my bacon.
