I just bought one of these Xiaomi robot vacuums, it's really good, just having a beer in Buakhao and just told it to get cleaning 👍

  • I don't think so. Did you dutifully put the chairs on the table? Move all shoes out the way? Secure the doorways? Remove any cables.   What a pain in the derriere these robot vacs are.

  • We have the rather more costly AI version that mops as well.   It's pretty good at not getting stuck but dangling USB cables are its nemesis!

  • We got ours when we lost our actual living, breathing (just about) "lady that does" when her hubby had a stroke 😞    Madam did try to persuade her to come back for a couple of mornings a wee

Price looks great.

Please keep us updated on its performance etc 👍

Sadly, this type of technology will put our Georgie boy out of a job. 😔

Mine mops sort of, just uses water and a cloth, certainly won't remove stains

We got ours when we lost our actual living, breathing (just about) "lady that does" when her hubby had a stroke 😞

Madam did try to persuade her to come back for a couple of mornings a week, mainly to give her at least some income, but unusually, Madam failed 😞

It does get a fairly easy life, its biggest challenge are my toenail clippings which I slyly shove under the bed where it does actually clean better than the flesh and blood maid :whistling:

On the whole very happy with the beast, fill the water and empty the waste once a month and just let it get on with it.

Wow...maybe I missed it ,or maybe there has been a change in readership demographics.

But nobody has ask how it is for sxx.

That's all very well, but my maid also cleans my kitchen and bathrooms. Vacuum cleaning the floors is the least of my worries, I wouldn't even mind doing that myself (unlike the other stuff).

These robots don't clean, they only vacuum up dust. I'll stick with the flesh and blood models.

It's true that my robot is better than a maid in some ways, it cleans every day, my maid used to come monthly but a robot can't you know what

Do you rent a cleaner or do you clean yourself? Some I guess do not clean much at all.

However, a young maid is more interesting to look at – and with a small stair to stand on, she can also wipe the dust of the upper shelves...:whistling:

I get a cleaner in sometimes, easy to do myself but the floor gets dusty every day and i don't want to sweep every day and I don't want an asian slave. You use your wife?

You have great stand against marriage and relationships, don't you?

We have our roles in our marriage, but I sweep my balcony every morning before coffee. And we also have a maid coming helping cleaning once and awhile when we are busy doing something else on the farm.

Wondering who is the true slaves? Those who rent prostitutes when needed, or those who chose to be in relationships and make a life together sharing and caring.

jealous prostitutes or a wife who cares?

Delicate theme isn't?

I know how you feel and how you think about it, can't change that, but maybe one day you have trow the towel in and give up, the older you get the harder it will bee

Maybe your wife cares maybe she doesn't, maybe just another fake one, you'll be the last to know, but as long as the money doesn't run out you'll be fine
