December 17, 2025Dec 17 Im not currently in Pattaya but would like to send a friend a Christmas hamper. Would be very grateful for any suggestions of local establishments that can supply and deliver.
December 17, 2025Dec 17 All the supermarkets do them , but it might not be your idea of a christmas hamper regards worgeordie
December 17, 2025Dec 17 Villa Market at The Avenue, TOPS Central Soi 9, Friendship Supermarket on Pattaya Klang, BEST Supermarket on Naklua Road.. You can choose what goes into the hamper. Easier with Villa and TOPS as you can see more of what they have online.

It is for an English friend. Was hoping to secure something similar to a John lewis or fortnum and mason type hamper e.g. packed with chocolates, preserves, coffee, teas, cakes, Christmas type cups/mugs, that sort of thing. Wasn't sure if there was something similar provided in Pattaya so thought I'd reach out on this forum.

Give him a bottle of hooch and a ST with a Walking Street wench. The stuff that dreams are made of. A hell of a lot more meaningful than another bottle of Devonshire Cream and a handful of Flake bars to a dotard.

I thought Villa might have some hampers but I see only some individual bits and pieces here like cakes and mincers etc. https://shop.villamarket.com/promotions/8000003688
December 18, 2025Dec 18 You are wasting your time... hampers like in the UK are virtually impossible to get here.

December 18, 2025Dec 18 Popular Post Not at all true that they are impossible to get in Pattaya. The difference is that they are customised. Personalised service is a thing in Thailand. The main difference is that you'll need to choose the items by yourself. Hoping to just happen upon the perfect Christmas hamper for each individual is not a sensible proposition. Supermarkets in Pattaya that cater to foreigners, will have Christmassy items in stock. They will also have baskets and someone to put the items together and make them look nice. They can also deliver. Do you imagine that somewhere like TOPS Central would refuse your business? They will have everything, from familiar cheeses, chocolates and wine for your hamper. They have foreign employees in case of any issues with translation and pickers that walk around fulfilling orders. It can be done.

Now that we are talking chicken essence? Have you never been in any Thai supermarket before a big Budhist festival? Baskets of the stuff, all wrapped up in coloured cellophane!

December 18, 2025Dec 18 They're always so ridiculously overpriced no matter what country you are in. Why not buy the stuff you want from one of the Supermarkets that stocks western stuff and wine or whatever? Buy a basket and some clear cellophane, stuff some pretty red tissue in the bottom arrange your produce of choice within, wrap in the plastic tie with a big red bow and just courier it to them.

I took it to mean your friend was in Pattaya but you were elsewhere in Thailand. So if you are in another country my suggestion is indeed useless. Guess your best bet then is the post showing those ready made baskets/hampers. The one including the Christmas pudding looks about right!
December 19, 2025Dec 19 Author Thank you to everyone for your suggestions, following the leads I encountered several options but I ended up using a company called basketeer.com, a Bangkok based company that could arrange delivery in Pattaya. I only found this company by following some of the leads and suggestions written on the thread. Thank you one and all.
