I have a question about the TM47 (Immigration Jomtien )

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a question about the TM47.

I did a road trip to Laos and re-entered Thailand using a re-entry stamp in my passport on 15 November 2025. Should I submit my TM47 application 90 days after my re-entry on 15 November, or should I continue using the original 90-day reporting schedule from prior to my trip to Laos?

I’m asking because I received an automatic online 90-day reporting email yesterday, submitted it, and it was rejected 😕.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You will report 90 days after your entry from Laos. It was rejected because you left the country. This will have to be done in person.

New entry or new passport, must be done on-site.

In your case 90 days after entering.

Don't forget to do your TM30 within 24h if you own your property.

Every time, new TM30, not like they check your arrival date, but some grumpy old lady will fine you.

You can try and register and do it online,

Some immigration office don't care, but Jomtien does.

Luckily I use the EEC BOI office in Chonburi, they don't care. Had to go to Jomtien to get certificate for renew my driving licence, they really cared.

Back in June I went to Jomtien to submit my first 90-day report after re-entering in March. At the 90-day desk I was told that I needed a new TM30.

I had to drive back home to get copies of my wife's house book, her ID card, and my yellow house book, then back to the TM30 desk and got a new one. Then again to the 90-day desk to complete my report.

No fine.

Or by mail.

90 days gets reset to when you entered. You will have to do the report in person though.
