Miss Surrey was interviewed on Australian morning television the other day. (don't know why she was the only one to get the publicity?)

She certainly didn't strike me as being likely to impress the judges with her intelligence. And her face, in closeup, looked fairly ordinary compared to her publicity photos.

She did however, have all the cliches on hand: "I want to show that big is beautiful" , "I'm doing it for all those plus sized girls out there", etc, etc.

She'll have to be careful where she sits on the day of the contest, those skinny ones must be concerned.
