The weather forecast by the Meteorological Department of Thailand reported that the monsoon trough lies across the lower central region, the East and the South while the low pressure area covers the middle South China Sea. If not in good condition, all residents and tourists surrounding these places must be evacuated immediately.

People in risky areas should monitor the weather forecast closely. Those who are suffering from flooding, windstorm, and landslide can ask for 24-hour help from the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Regional Centers or calling hotline 1784.

The 20 provinces at risk include Phetchaburi and Prachuap Khiri Khan in the lower central region, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi, and Trat in the East and 14 provinces in the South, namely Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang, Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala, Pattani, Narathiwat and Satun.
