A man was killed in Nakhon Si Thammarat's Ron Pibul district yesterday afternoon when several pipe bombs inside a bag he was carrying exploded.

The explosion took place at 1.30pm at a house in Tambon Ron Pibul. As the 50-year-old homeowner was reportedly wearing a sports attire and football shoes when he was killed, police would further probe which stadium or venue he intended to take the bomb to, provincial police deputy chief Pol Colonel Anuchon Chamat said.

Police reportedly also collected 16 pipe bombs, which did not explode, from the scene.

Initial investigation found that the man had sustained a gunshot wound to the head from a previous gun attack and reportedly had not been his normal self since, Anuchon said. He said police would determine whether his possession of explosives stemmed from such an injury or other reasons.

So, a bomb explodes in a bag full of explosives and if that's the photo, even the bag survived.

He must have died of a heart attack.

Talk about instant karma.

In Northern Ireland this was known as An own goal

Yeah, never put you batteries in the same bag as your detonators. lol
