Chiang Mai hosts seminar on how to turn the province into MICE CITY

CHIANG MAI, 26 September 2015 (NNT)- Thailand Incentive and Convention Association President Sumate Sudasna yesterday presided over the opening ceremony of the 19th seminar aimed at promoting Chiang Mai as the center for international meetings, incentives, conferencing, and exhibitions.

Chiang Mai Deputy Governor Nawin Sintusa-ard welcomed over 150 participants to the event, many of whom were from the hotel, tourism, and event organizing industries. The event aims to teach participants how to present the province as a MICE hub, in an effort to turn the province into MICE CITY.

The event, which is hosted by the Thailand Incentive Convention Association, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Thai Airways is set to run from September 24th until the 26th at the The International Convention and Exhibition Centre Commemorating His Majesty’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary in Chiang Mai province.
