I've never ever heard of a single incidence of a Thai girl complain that the toilet seat is up.  She just puts it down and gets on with it. ( If she put it up when it's down then I'd get a little nervous).

 

Also in the west I never had the experience where my girl would think "I'm putting toothpaste on my brush, I'll do it for his while I'm at it".

 

Of all my neighbours they range from great to neutral, no bad there at all, and they are 'neighbourly'.

 

The only negatives I can think of are all related to commercial transactions (mom & pop shops, 7Eleven etc excepted).

 

Let's be honest though, they're mostly (not all) crap with money, although usually excellent at running a household, and I'm more than happy with that setup where my only job is to make sure the money comes in, and everything else tidies and irons itself.

 

Aside from that it's the usual stuff of long silky hair, beautiful skin, excitable and easy to smile.  I don't get any jealousy or her worrying that I might stray, she's only concerned I might stay out late and get drunk if I'm in certain circles of friends.  She doesn't try to stop me, but she makes her feelings about it known.  I've told her repeatedly not to worry, as if I should pop my clogs her security is already provided for.  That's a promise I made early and have followed through with (with other continent three factor authentication in case some schemer tried some funny business).

They are generally pretty predictable and there are a few categories of them. I don't think you would ever go back to the "crap take" you have put up with from a Western woman once you have had the taste of the Thai. They always have to have a shower before a you know what. I actually prefer one afterwards... just sayin'..

We're all different in our tastes, and 'good legs' to me are muscular calves, something very few Thai women have.

 

I'm not into Thai women but I do see their prettiness/ beauty, but not enough to do it for me, and I do hate the pidgin English, as I'm sure they'd hate my pidgin Thai.

Yep. This is the kind of thing that first attracted me to my wife along with a beautiful smile. I've always said that she is as beautiful inside as she is outside.

While my wife is more sporty girl than car model, Thai women are very feminine and I really like that. No country has the sheer numbers of lookers in the whole of East Asia. In states its all mannishness, gender politics, manhating. In Bangkok, I love the short skirts, makeup. Mass transit is just chok full of stunners in rush hour. My wife and so many Thai women have a lovely disposition. They are helpful and gracious but most of all, fun.

 

This is a component of Thainess that so many of you deride.

I agree with all of  this except the makeup. My wife had never worn makeup in her life until the day of our wedding. She's fresh and natural with a sunny disposition. She always wakes up in the morning with a huge smile on her face. She looks great in the mini dresses that she wears in the summer but she would look great wearing a black bin liner.

One of the problems we have here is due to humour (or lack of it on the Thai side). When we both go visit my friend Ron; over a beer Ron and myself laugh and joke about virtually everything (including our predicaments).

 

When we get home it's 20 questions time. Taking little snippets of converse out of context.

This is an interesting topic and one could almost say that the reason we like living here is similar to our preferences for Thai girls? Maybe?

There are beautiful western girls and I have no complaints about previous western girlfriends but perhaps they are harder work than Thai girls when in a relationship?

In 6 years I have had one major argument with my Thai girlfriend whereas that was never the case in the UK. perhaps THAT IS BECAUSE OF GRENG-JAI? Thais don't pursue an argument to it's bitter and lowest end and also stop listening and just 'close down' if their partner is expressing anger or disappointment in them.

 

The issue is forgotten in due course without it predicating a huge argument. Perhaps that's true for others?

 

As far as appearance goes, generally speaking even older Thai women remain fairly attractive as usually they stay slim and have nice skin but like the beach cities in Thailand that collect piles of rubbish behind sand dunes there are also plenty of old scrotes whose bodies are covered in horrible tattoos and scars.

 

Life and women are perhaps easier here . . .

 

A few western women have asked me about the language barrier, 'don't you get bored not being able to discuss things in depth'? Frankly very few people, never mind western women are capable of having conversations about Art, Philosophy or Politics and even if they are it does not mean one gets on well with them.

 

Ease of heart is hard to come by and I think we can find it more easily here in Thailand. every morning is made better by riding to work in the sunshine or being woken up by lightness in the sky and a smile returned from a pretty cinnamon coloured girl. Thai people are generally graceful, smiling and gentle as long as they don't lose face . . then, stand well back.

 

Sex is actually a non-issue here as it is easily found everywhere so men do not have to spend lots of time and energy chasing it. It seems however that some men take time to realise this and still make the mistake of 'pedestalising the pussy' instead of focusing on more profitable pastimes.

 

Swallowing the 'red pill' is essential for ease of living (sabai jai)  . . .love your girl but don't be her sap, dupe, footsoldier or servant. Likewise in your dealings with service providers of all kinds, respect everyone but lose the white guilt.

 

An old adage levelled at staff of the East India Company was that once a man had lived in the East he was ruined for polite society but I would say it's the making of a man if he is self aware. Thai girls and their general and frequent loveliness is just part of the equation in my humble opinion.
