Did you read the previous posts? In this country it is an offense to desecrate the currency due to there being the image of H.M. King Bhumibol.  Flattening the image of a U.S.President is not considered as serious as here in Thailand.

Stupid, I think of Loy Krathong  when kids will swim after the offerings to get the coins, the thought of a young child watching this idiot lay coins on the track and then tries to get them before the train rolls over them is too horrible to think about.

Humm, kids and "kids" - here in Chiang Mai, I saw a bunch of adults last year just beyond the riverbend going after the coins, then an hour or so later I saw the same guys selling the used krathongs to passing tourists by the bridge 

 

EDIT: And re; topic: This guy is hilarious, not because of his moron stunts, but because he manages to cause such a stirr around TVF  every time

Flattening U.S. coins is not considered "serious" at all in the U.S.! 

Not a fan of My Dude Nate, and he shouldn't use Thai coins of course, but this seems much ado about nothing. It's not a hazard to the trains. Maybe to people playing around on the tracks though.
