Video: Ex boyfriend shoots girlfriend dead then fails to kill himself

 

 

Shocking footage from the street in Nakorn Pathom on Monday lunchtime showed a Rayong man aim a .38 gun at his ex girlfriend and kill her.

 

As the victim's friend scurries away the man goes to the ground and attempts to kill himself by firing at his own neck.

 

He failed and a member of the public got him to hospital before the Phuttamonthon cops arrived on the scene.

 

He is in a serious condition in hospital. 

 

The man had laid in wait for his university student girlfriend. He wanted to get back together with her again but was turned down.

 

After appearing to fire or perhaps pretending to fire the woman stands her ground. She is then gunned down.

 

She was named as 21 year old Natchareeya Thaprajit from Surin. She was a student at Suan Sunundha Rajabhat University.

 

Her ex boyfriend is aged about 25, said Thai Rath. 

 

The incident happened outside the Sahaporn housing estate on the Phuttamonthon to Nakorn Chaisri Road in Nakorn Pathom province west of Bangkok. 

 

Later Thai Rath said that the victim's Facebook page featured an emoji with a broken heart.

 

The victim - named as "Nong Um" -  had said on her page that even though she had split up with her boyfriend she still had herself.

It baffles me how some people still see the death sentence as an inhumane form of punishment ?

For me, this <deleted> deserves exactly that, and no less.

What a dreadful waste of life. I have massive sympathy for the victim and her family.

I just can't get my head around how immature one must be to shoot someone dead over rejection.

These horrendous crimes happen far too often in Thailand, more so than any other country i've seen yet

once again we see the pathetic metality of the thai males, no one to blame but the parents that raised them to think they are number one and everyone else has to do as they please.

I wish these twits would do it the right way at least. Succeed in killing yourself first, then fail in killing your exgirlfriend. Weak man children bloody disgraceful. Although I am a fan of the death sentence I also think life in a crappy Thai prison, if there is zero chance of early release, is a suitable punishment.

yeah, ego, Shame of what his male macho friends would say about him not being able to keep a girl, upset at losing his ticket and money slave.  Not sure if I want him to pull through surgery and suffer long time in a prison, or just save the public's money and stop treatment.  The probability that he would at some future time be released is unfortunately likely

Why take him to hospital, should have left him there. RIP for the young girl. It says a lot about this country that I see far too much of this type of thing.!!

Another Thai man with a small dick and an oversized ego.    And a scar on his neck he will invent fanciful stories about, like duelling in a German university or saving someone from someone like him.  And we frequently see a troll thread stared on this forum about "Why do Thai women prefer foreigners over Thai men?"    The stories my wife has told me about some of the things her ex got up to would in many cases begger belief.  Except I do believe them.   Hilarious stuff about ego things.  (Well after all, he was [still is] a policeman)

Second thoughts: Both incidents still have something to do with the barrel on his gun being too short.   Poor Girl.  What a waste.

So true starky , to really show her he should of shot himself but made a better job of it . I wonder why she rejected him , likely he had a very frail ego , perhaps she told him to grow up.

RIP waste of young girls life over rejection , 4 years now since thai military coup ? junta have proved one thing,the gun rules in thailand. so sad to watch this video

Kind of ironic that channel 3 are reporting the story, be better if they stopped airing such nonsense Thai soaps where gun toting thugs and dudes beating up women are the norm!!

I know what he was trying to say.   But most people don't understand unless they have had experience.  I was in medical rehab field for 11 years.
