Nong Nam Wan, Nong Nam Ing and Nong Bai Fern - three Chiang Mai lady boys suffer the backlash!

Chiang Mai police went to the area of the Tha Pae gate last night to stamp out restaurants ripping off tourists and opening after hours. 

 

But instead of making any arrests in that regard they chased some lady boys - or phooying prapet song (type two women) or katoeys as the Chiang Mai News referred to them. 

 

Muang district chief Pol Col Piyaphan Patrapongsin and his officers managed so catch three though several others disappeared into the shadows. 

 

They were pictured at the station behind sheets of paper and named as "Nong Nam Wan" (sweet water lady), Nong Bai Fern (fern leaf lady) and Nong Nam Ing (er...Ing water lady). 

 

Chiang Mai news said that lady boys were selling sex to tourists at Tha Pae and spoiling the image of tourism.

 

Lady boys in general were often responsible for drugging and robbing tourists, they claimed, as well as having sex in the open by the Mae Ping river. 

 

No mention was made of the charges against the threesome arrested last night. 

 

The police raid came in the wake of damaging reports about a Korean man being ripped off to the tune of 160,000 baht in a karaoke lounge in the northern Thai city. 

 

He got 120,000 baht back after two police complaints and contact with his embassy bore fruit.

stop the games

legalize the vice, cordon it off from family venues and hoods, tax it, monitor it, check all comers for cooties and such, and relax and enjoy the proceeds

Wonder what the officer is doing with his back to the "phooying prapet song"  trio??

When anyone asks me how to behave around LBs my advice is not to make eye contact with one while you are eating a banana.  Live and let live , I only really know one and he/she is no problem at all.

Lady boys are a plague on Thailand.  They always seem to have to get in your face.

it's interesting that bigoted comments receive no attention from moderators and yet if you dare to suggest someone's grammatical errors can adversely effect understanding of a post you can get suspended.
