Who is Scouse Lee B? Police hunt foreigners who vandalised Tha Pae Gate

 

 

Police are hunting for a gang of vandals who spray painted the Tha Pae Gate in Chiang Mai.

 

The incident, which was caught on CCTV, happened around 4am on Thursday morning.

 

Images shared by Chiang Mai based Happy Radio 98.5FM showed the words “Scousse Lee B” spray painted on the wall.

 

Police have vowed to track down the culprits, who are believed to be foreigners.

Scouse refers to someone from Liverpool so possibly a backpacker with the name B Lee or Lee B ?

Oh dear, I'm expecting loads of pages of the old 'hub caps' jokes now. 

Do they track down all the other Graffiti  tossers all over BKK too?

One would think. It wouldn't be too difficult to locate Lee from Manchester from immigration records or hotel registers.

Perhaps he ran out of spray paint? These vandals should be dealt with harshly.

They're won't be too many people from uk called lee who was in changmai that night

 

Immigration will have this idiot on their locals hotel list with his passport number so he might not be caught until he tried to leave

Just been down there , Police on the case .

They asked me if I knew what the writing meant .

I grassed them right up

Sent a link too the Liverpool Echo. Can't be many Lee B's in Thailand and even fewer in Chaing Mai. Really cannot understand the mentality of someone travelling from England to the north of Thailand just to carry out some mindless vandalism. Hopefully the Echo and other news outlets will publicize this and the Muppet (no offense muppets) responsible will be caught.

They will say that it wasnt his fault and he is the victim in all this

Definitely from Liverpool. Who else would admit being from there, or more to the point then put it on a wall? Most likely his first name. Shouldn't be too difficult to find him. TM30 forms.
