As a recovered alcoholic, I feel sorry for this man and hope he can get well soon.

How often we see no compassion with self-righteous judgement from those who need their self worth heightened.

Perhaps that is how his mother dragged him up.

I am not quite sure he was dragged up, more like he was washed up from an overflow of a toilet bowl...

I like the bit about what he said to the Tuk tuk driver, does he not realise he is in Thailand,Magaluf would have seemed a better destination for him,by the way i did not care for the comment on Public school boys by another poster, having attended Harrow, i have never called people 'oiks',peasants or serf's is more accurate.

I find him funny in some way, and in another way i find the woman behind the phone absolutely hilarious, while trying to appear respectably outraged.

Why is this in the news ?

Normal Brits do not behave this way fella. I dare say there are plenty of nob-ends in the country you hail from, where is that by way? ????

Maybe the clue was in the 'us'.:whistling:

What does "chav," apparently a Briticism, mean?

Chav, Stands for

Council House Affiliated Vermin.

A rather clear picture painted too.

I remember once when I was a lot younger and stupider, laughing at a tramp. My Grandad told me not to judge as I didnt know his story. Same here, really as we dont know how life has treated him.

Having said that, he needs bringing into the real world. Im sure, if he continues to act like that, someone inevitably will. I ll not be laughing when it happens.

After what I've seen over the years, he was lucky not to get flattened with a bar stool.

Could happen any moment... or might even take a lesson in flying.
