After watching the 'interceptor' series on youtube about British motorway police, I have come to the conclusion that the UK youth of today seem to be an illiterate booze filled weed smoking lot of snowflakes, he should have had a 6 month sentence in a Thai prison on top of the 100k fine, perhaps with some reading lessons.

If you make that a two year sentence I will agree with you.

Given he is a scouser who couldn't even spell scouse correctly, you would have to suggest he is not a particularly fast learner. In fact pretty stupid might be a reasonably accurate way of describing

Here's mocking YOU once again - Mr. Lee ("Scousse") Furlong:

Alternatively the Thai authorities could have just (sic) "cut Lee's balls off!"

Small fine........enables the behavior to continue.......

How about a permanent ban, and cane his buttocks raw with a cane like they do in Taiwan.....??this might teach the little anot nosed guttter snipe a real lesson

I love reading the puffed-up, righteous opinions of expat idlers who never lived a misspent youth, and who have nothing better to do than call for drastic exemplary sentences for minor transgressors of sometimes ridiculous laws with absurd penalties.

After a local contractor was paid 3000 baht to clean the wall, who in turn paid 2 Burmese labourers 300 baht each who keeps the remainder of the fine?

Who cares....????

Probably top of his class.

Did he actually spell "scouse" wrong??? You can't make this stuff up!

No, he didn't, as can be clearly seen in the photo. He wrote scouser.

Hope he learned a lesson from that mindless act.

Umm, spray 'Cockney Dave' next time, and check for the CCTV.

A <deleted> of the first order no doubt about that but with his lack of grey cells he probably does not know, even now what he did was wrong. To think he might breed doesn't bear thinking about

He seems to be a good example why some people should be stopped from breeding

So its ok for him to turn up at your place and spray some crap on your walls?

It was NOT a historic fortress. It was reported earlier that the wall he wrote on was built in the 1980's. Not really an ancient artifact is it ? But we all know what Thais are like when it comes to telling the truth !!

The wall was repaired and re built and some of the original wall is still there and the whole wall is considered to be ancient

The fine should have been 1000 Baht. The court has very clearly bullied this idiot by imposing such a large fine over what amounts to a triviality of a crime. It was cleaned off the 40 year old wall very easily and quickly.

How much would a Thai have been fined?

I thought that was Thai man's penalty for stopping a car on the road and threatening the occupants with a gun or machete....:jap:

How much did the Russian Bird get fined for spray painting the road in Phuket? no where near as much as this admittedly she's better looking than the scouser

Yah.  He learned that Mum & Dad's money will get him out of whatever he decides to do next and he doesn't have to take responsibility for anything.

I wonder what the lad is up to now ?

Maybe planning a holiday to his next destination, far away from Thailand.

Like many Thai youngsters.

I still say punishment should be like for like - he should have been tattooed with 'RETARD' on his forehead and sent off home...
