Chinese tourist in Bangkok caught defecating in street next to shocked diners

 

 

Thai Rath reported that a Chinese male tourist had dropped his trousers and attempted to pooh down a drain in full view of street stall diners in downtown Bangkok. 

 

Poster Raweewan S. Boou said she was walking along Soi Texas in Yaowarat going to get some dessert.

 

The Chinese tourist was with a group of friends and was trying to direct his pooh down a hole - but failed. 

 

Thai Rath called the pooh a "massive" one in their headline. 

 

Raweewan said that the man had no tissues or water with him - she had no idea how he might clean himself. 

 

She said she felt sorry for him - the authorities should put some porta-loos into that area. 

 

She added that she was on her way to buy bananas in syrup - she cancelled that plan......

 

The picture has only just come to light - it was taken on March 26th. 

 

The other week a Chinese female tourist was caught urinating on the Airport Link train.

Apparently when interviewed later the quality tourist said he thought Bangkok was a dump ????

 

Public toilets are generally notso  plentiful in Thailand.

 

I wish there were more of them as we all require there use every day.

A quick wild guess here that this guy is probably from a far flung province in China that the streets there also serves as a public toilets and every one in his province is doing it...

When I lived in India, you would regularly see a local curling one out on the side of the road, but even they were discrete enough not to do it in a crowded street. It shows a shocking level of "shitty" manners to do this in front of people eating. Clearly he has no shame whatsoever, but he is Chinese, so a quality tourist apparently.

I notice it didn't mention any increase in Thailand, which seems rather surprising given the recent reports about the Chinese doing it here.

Right, but millions of locals and tourists manage to find toilets every day. There really isn't any excuse. 

That's just nasty and wrong. If I was that desperate that I absolutely couldn't hold it in, I think I would rather shit my pants and squelch off somewhere to try to tidy up, rather than take a crap in front of everyone eating. 

Mind you could've been worse ..

That is not right . If you are in a street where there is no public WC and you jave a diarre . That you can not stop it although you want to stop it . You have 2 choise to make it in your trausers or you make it in front of public . What you cjoose

'Choise' 3 - don't go outside when you have diarrhea. 

In Macau on a long weekend trip - lots of mainland China tourists here, not seen any of them dump in the street - Thailand really does get the lowest tier of Chinese tourists.

 

I think for the Chinese tourists - Thailand must be the equivalent of Mallorca or 'Ibeefa' for British tourists?

 

I guess airport tax is a major source of revenue for the Thai Government, so volume counts more than quality?

A big problem where I work; they let their kids defecate in the kid's pool rather than take them to the toilet....incredible.
