And some members ask why certain news threads are closed for discussion...

This is an example to learn from.

Even after mod cleanup disgusting babble left.

I totally agree, to many of topic comments here and speculation about cause of death. How can anybody make jokes about this poor lady's death? Horrible people.

Foreigners usually hang them selves in door knobs, stab themselves in the back or throw them self in front of the car who belongs to the thai guy they just been having a argue with. This poor lady was killed, RIP.

What other conclusion can there be?

Suicide, you should wait until after the 5 minutes forensic investigation is completed before drawing any concrete (no pun intended) is competed.

Interesting - how could there have been a foul odor emanating from the room if the victim was encased in cement inside a fridge that was still connected??

A sad way to leave - hope the case is resolved quickly and that the culprit gets his verdict.

RIP

Have you no respect?

A poor woman has probably been murdered and all you can do is make sick comments.... Shame on you.

How can one be accused of sick comments when stating the truth? I don't suggest all Thai police are the same, but you would be hard pressed to find the odd one out.

It wasn't just a case of getting her some new cement shoes. But were they thinking cement- refrigerator then take it to the water but it was too heavy?

Easy answer, a fridge lying down on the side won't work.

Perhaps they meant, there were two bags of cement on top of the body, perhaps it was cement not concrete?? Were the bags mentioned open and just poured over the deceased?

I am convinced that a brown envelope from the brother of the dead woman to the BIB's will helping find the killer(s) within a day or two.

Upmost force from the police force right now, brown envelope not even a question, some gruesome murder, killed for pennies, not a suicide, two man's job, strangulation.

Quit the stupid speculation, and let it's see the police's progress. Catching them soon in 2 days.

Police are giving weight to the suggestion that this was a case of theft/murder.

Suicide? or an accident. She was mixing cement for repairs when she slipped and grabbed the fridge to try and steady herself which fell on top of her and the cloth she was standing on wrapped itself around the fridge.????

I think the TV barstool detectives are close to solving this case, wait and see tomorrow when they deliver the killers on a plate.

Perhaps because the fridge broke down from slightly unconventional usage.

Could be! Local correspondents rarely labor on construction sites. And I'm not sure the forensics know enough to go looking for a mixing site, either. But perhaps the perps were in such a hurry, they forgot or forewent the sand and aggregate.
