Frozen beef patties anywhere?

Recommended Posts

I hear Makro has frozen beef patties but they are too far away (I'm on South Buakao and get around on bike). Do any of the other grocery stores sell preformed patties?

Villa at the Avenue has excellent Burger Patty's in a four pack in the frozen food section just in front of the meat department.

Great tasting and good quality

A while back they had frozen Wagyu beef burgers from Australia, not cheap but very tasty if you cooked it right.

I'm sure the guys 5 years ago looking for frozen burgers will be appreciative of your help 😆

They don't half keep some of these 'memorable' threads going eh?

Never looked at the original OP, shall take note in future.

How about making them yourself and freezing them...

Burgers are easy... then we have control of the ingredients etc...      timing permitting of course.

The issues I always have are getting a good brioche bun...

Best Supermarket at Dolphin Circus sell them.

Best Supermarket moved and is now in a new location on Naklua Rd just North of Soi 18. A lot farther for the OP than the old location.

There is also a Foodland in Terminal 21 that a lot of people seem to forget about.

See my photo above. Ciabotta, done & dusted in 4 hours. No kneading needed.

Great for a Sandwich...    But, if we're going to go down that road of discussion, I don't think Ciabatta is an ideal bread for a burger - which is why I just order my Brioche Buns from Conkeys bakery in Bangkok when I'm doing burgers.

Find a Thai girl with a farm and raise some beef cattle.  Slaughter them and grind the meat and freeze for delicious patties.

Grain?

if they are feed grain, it's usually what they call Lot Feeding ....  where they are in a small area all day and only fed grain and water.

what else can they feed them except grass   ?

They can also be fattened on corn and finished on grass or grain. They grow rapidly on corn but it's hard on their guts.  An uncle raised cattle in an organic fashion and his beef was sold the day the calves showed up at the farm.  People line up for quality beef.
