Yes, that's possibly true, but I took a random stool sample, as one does, from the internet, and posted the sturdiest looking I could find. That's a good advertisement for the makers, who could advertise "Our stools take a beating while you're sitting eating"..

Another Africa story, in Bulawayo, my aunt had problems with the servants. They lived in a hut at the end of the garden, quite civilised. Every night there would be a number of men visiting with the maid, who was a young, slim African lady of let's say twenties age. 

Tired of the noise and arguments this provoked, when the time came to "replace" the maid, my aunt chose the fattest, ugliest female she could find.

The "business" at the end of the garden more than doubled! 

Some people prefer the "traditionally built"..............

Built for comfort rather than speed.

 

Not many bits of fluff like her when I first came to Thailand. Now a dramatic increase in numbers. She might be a really kind person.
