A few places spoil their English breakfast by using Ayam baked beans. Too sweet, even their so-called English recipe ones.  Heinz are very expensive but I bought a few cans of Branstons beans at Food For Foreigners a while back. Pretty good.

I live nearby there they have some good deals on cheese at the moment and I see some English style Chinese curry mix

Used to have HP sauce as well , think they stopped providing HP sauce because some people were putting half a bottle on their breakfast which would add 60 Baht to their costs

For my tea last night I made a BLT on a home made muffin aroi maak 

If you go by google maps for a breakfast suggestion,  better to call ahead, most places are closed.

Had a good one at the One More bar in Kanchanaburi last weekend (photo).  ????

 

More relevant perhaps, the Phuket Yacht Club do an excellent breakfast in a waterside setting.

Zebra cafe Kathu (sep open)

Islander in Rawai

Bamboo house Rawai 

All open all do a good breakfast

Most large dishes like that here in Phuket woul be upward if 300b ...!

So many times I've seen Thais cook chips (fries) by putting them in the oil before it reaches proper temperature. Greasy yuk!

Just to rub it in, again from The One More bar, Kanchanaburi last weekend.  Fish (haddock) and chips (270 baht) and their Sunday roast (300 baht).

Move to Cha am. Irish bar 180 baht.

 

2 eggs 2 ham 2 bacon 1 long sausage, home fried potato ,beans, tomatoes , 2 wholemeal toast slices,orange juice and tea or coffee with free refill.

 

Bought this and shared with wife. Still left with 2 full bellies.

Thats the same as English people ONLY eating English food in England .

I prefer some variety

As sad as people coming to Thailand and having a Thai dish for breakfast and imagining themselves cool , fully integrated and ethnic and above other people just because of what they do or do not eat.

 

Food is food ...... there is no kudos involved in it .  Variety is the spice of life.
