Pipat is completely lost, and he has always been in over his head, well before Covid. He should have stuck with running the PTT stations. His $155 million fortune insures he is completely out of touch with the needs of the people. Appointed Prayuth style. With no credentials other than money and influence. 

 

No program will work, which requires quarantine. Period. End of story. 

 

Leaders lead. Cowards and men completely devoid of vision and solutions, cower in the corners, and come up with nothing. 

 

It is just a matter of time now. Finally, the people are speaking in a loud and clear voice. Kudos to them. Kudos to the youth! 

It is time to take away the restrictions an dopen up the country.

Enough of this madness. We are suffering big time. 

The business is dead and soon willl be the savings. 100 or 500 or 1000 will not solve the financial issues. 

Stop being stubborn and start acting like leaders and care for the all the people of your country.

I think they need to fix the country’s problem before bringing the tourists in.

Apparently they did that a few weeks ago calling the workers back and that did not go down to well as many bookings were cancelled

yes, the reporting.

The Minister of Tourism and Sports said this, and it wasn't in the article here: 

"He also stated that this group is part of a “conditional entry” program and were specifically selected and endorsed by the Center for Covid-19 Situation Administration, or CCSA."

These 120 chinese so called "tourists" were "specifically selected" and probably didn't have to apply for their visas the normal way.

Actually i don't think so, if you look at countries that went into full lock down and closed their borders, and even in China's case, closed their cities off completely, then you'll see their Covid cases are very low.

I seriously doubt the Chinese Government will let them come to a country undergoing street protests. By the way, it is not just in Bangkok, now also in Pattaya and many other Thai cities. This is the first time in my 20.5 years here in Pattaya, that anything like that has happened, beyond the Red/Yellow confrontation during an ASEAN conference being held here.
