JeffersLos Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 The passenger and 2 rear electric windows won't go down. Either when controlled by the buttons on the driver's door or their own doors. The driver's window will go down and up. This operation is a bit different as this door window is automatic, you push it once quickly, and it goes down or up by itself. The 3 that currently don't operate are not like this. I am thinking it's maybe a single fuse or something? Any ideas? There are no other electrical issues. Only the 3 non automatic windows that won't go down when the buttons on the driver's door or their own door are pushed. The car is around 10 year's old. TIA. 1

Isn’t there a button nearby the window control in the driver side by which you can disable the other window operations? 12 4

Popular Post AhFarangJa Posted October 29, 2020 Popular Post Posted October 29, 2020 Brilliant, thank you for this mornings laugh, I am happier now knowing I am not the senile one here..... On a similar thread, I had a phone call from a friend who had managed to try a short cut and got bogged down on a dirt track in his Ranger Wildtrack. I went down with my two wheel drive Ranger, but could not get close enough to help. We hired a local man with a tractor who got the car out, but then I asked him why he did not use 4 wheel drive. He said his truck does not have it. I pointed to the button near the gear lever, and said all wildtracks have 4 wheel drive............His reply, ( a censored version, because he is Scottish ), was "I wondered what that button was for......." 1 4

faraday Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 While you're fiddling about, squirt a little bit of switch cleaner on the buttons. After 10 years, they're probably full of gunk. 1 1

Pedrogaz Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 Probably something to do with the fuses, the wiring, the battery or the electrics.
