Kushner, Berkowitz nominated for Nobel Peace Prize for Israel deals

In the long run they're going to have to do some kind of one state compromise.

There's a well known problem with that.

If the Palestinians are granted citizenship, their birth-rate is much higher than the Jewish citizens.

Eventually, the Palestinians will out-number Jewish citizens and through democracy, will take control of the country.

Please explain how these people improved the live of the Palestinians. Or does nobody care, as usual.

  • You are kidding! Did Kushner get the Israeli's out of the occupied Territories??? The best thing Kushner has done is get out of Washington!

  • Its fair enough for this to be worthy of consideration but overall I don't think they should get anything but a booby prize because of the stain on the Morocco deal and how the Palestinians were screw

How about the 'Nobel Appeasement of Terrorism Prize'.  Awarded to the most gullible politician, and/or the the latest 'reformed and repenting ex terrorist',  who has repented because he won in the end.  If he hadn't been blown away, and given a few more years, old Ben Laden would no doubt have been nominated. It will be the Taliban next, you see.  Its pathetic

I believe the notorious terrorist and anti-Semite Yasser Arafat was given one too...oh yes here: The Nobel Peace Prize 1994 was awarded jointly to Yasser Arafat, Shimon Peres and Yitzhak Rabin "for their efforts to create peace in the Middle East." https://www.nobelprize.org/prizes/peace/1994/summary/

How has that worked out the past 25 years...hopefully the Trump administration efforts will bear more fruit.

Should also add Kushner's personal arms deal of $110 billion weapons sale to Saudi some if which I'm sure will be used in SA's indiscriminating war in Yemen.

You can't be both a peacemaker and an arms dealer.

BTW Palestinians are already the majority population right now in the area that Israel controls 100% between the Med and the Jordan.

One State...
1. What's so wrong with equality and democracy , when the alternative is an engineered apartheid with unequal rights?
1a. The transition to full democracy need not happen overnight. Citizens of all religions and ethnicity could earn the right to vote through community service.

and/or..
1b. A bi-cameral parliament where 50% seats are Jewish, and 50% seats are non Jewish.

Two states..
2.  The Peace Initiative basics have been on the table for decades: Land swaps to approx. 67 lines, shared Jerusalem, recognition/compensation for all refugees, Palestinian and Jewish. Israel remains a democracy and predominantly Jewish. This is the solution that the whole world (apart from Israel) supports. And USA too now that Trump has gone.
They'd eventually learn to live side by side in peace and form a confederation probably.

Both solutions are possible. Just requires real desire for peace and compromise, and a nudge/carrot/stick from powerful friends such as Biden. Now that would be a more deserving candidate for a Nobel Peace Prize if he could pull that off.

Alan Dershowitz nominates Jared Kushner. Basically a non-event! ????

Alan Dershowitz is a bigly looney tune. Roll with trump and use trump's defense that the election was stolen! But  in the Senate they do not have to defend his lies and those lawyers who do lie can be prosecuted!

LOL like I said see how the other follower is now he too confused. You can't make this stuff up as reality is better than fiction.

Many a Nobel Peace Prize has been wasted on prematurely celebrating peace with regards to Israel that ultimately hasn't materialized to this day. For this reason, I'd suggest to look elsewhere for the time being.

On the other hand, I'd imagine that Trump would throw a fit if his son-in-law received that prize instead of the one person who truly deserves it - him. That would make it worthwhile.

Always reminds me of an undertaker does Jared .. bet he's got a cold clammy handshake as well ..

Looking for the announcement for the new Trump Tower in Tel Aviv...

But it may be too soon.

Not sure about that. Trump is now a nobody with a heap of debt and many law suits coming against him. Will be an interesting couple of years for him.

Kushner is one of the shadiest people out there ever. Him receiving a Nobel price for peace is a fricking joke!
