Dunno, but it certainly wasn't a 'server upgrade' as they said on Facebook.

looks like a big upgrade. much faster now but graphics not right yet. i would give it a day.

I thought of it more as a temporary inconvenience than a disaster.

Yes, a lot of icons have been replaced by place holders at the moment.  The color scheme also seems to have changed, for me at least.  Maybe things will get fixed.

Yeah all will come slowly, I guess some here that don't understand haven't got anything else to do.

It will take awhile for things to be restored. Including us Mods.

That would certainly explain the delay and the lack of icons herein... ????

Hey, I'm old enough to remember DOS ! I started out with DOS 3.1 !

Ahh the good old days of having to edit the config.bat file to "load mouse.dvr high" to free up some of the base 640k of RAM so that you could get a program to load.
Such fun !

or a few weeks or months like most of the other big upgrade over the years on TV.....

Never sure why, many sites + shops appear to get everything running great, then they do another upgrade which takes  weeks or months to get it running right

 

Is there a need for these changes ? or do Tech guys just like fiddling about ?
