Laptop with only English keyboard in Bangkok?

Featured Replies

In the IT malls, have only been able to find  laptops with keyboards that have the Thai characters on them. Anyone know where to find laptop with only English characters?

it might be worth contacting invadeit.co.th and asking them if they can source one. They are reputable online  dealers and might have contacts to get one.

I have one that I'd consider selling, Acer Aspire v3-571g, intel core i-7, 8GB ram, big 15.6" screen, brand new 500GB SSD. The only problem is I've sticker bombed it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Higher end low volume models like a gaming models often don't have Thai screened on the keys and would come with a pack of thai characters on stickers to be applied

Online stores like Dell and Apple used to be able to configure the keyboard to US only too

Must depend where you go. In Big C the all-in-ones, laptops and wireless keyboards on display all seem to be dual Thai/U.S. English. At least the ones I've looked at and purchased have been.

If you buy a Mac Book you can choose - English only or English / Thai.

  • 3 weeks later...

You can buy letter / number / character stickers and put them on the keys.

But really, the Thai characters are so small they're unobtrusive, I never even see them.

Except now you've got me looking for them ????
