Supattanapong recently urged consumers to draw out their bank savings and begin spending to help shore up the fragile economy hit hard by the new wave of infections.

He really said that?

And when it's all spent, where will the money to live come from?

Fail.

Good question.

But it warms my heart that they roll out that old, fat, make a wish, watch wearing "special person" for photo's and sit him right next to the Czar.

Who do you think is the actual boss?

Given the downward trend of new cases, we will see if the doomsayers give the government any credit for slowing the plague down.

If you said that cases were going to spiral out of control and it is the fault of the government, then when your prediction fails to materialize, you should give credit where credit is due.

And you go the tinfoil route and claim the official figures are wrong, and that there are really many more cases, you should provide proof. And not just a couple of anecdotes. If there is a huge cover up, does it include the provinces, as well? If you provide a story of some elderly villager who was officially pronounced dead from respiratory failure, how does that reflect on the central government?

We do not discuss the real boss.

But the figurehead Czar and his deputy watch wearing fool and Billionaire Tard-boy seem to want the mantle.

I hope that wasn't taken yesterday, otherwise at THB 6000 a pop there are THB 120,000 of fines to be collected.

His senior is Prawit and the council.

Opposition leader says chance of Prayut resigning are ‘slim’ despite awful covid record. Still, they will move ahead with calls for resignation and investigation into negligence.

The number two man has been mysteriously absent for almost a month.  One wonders what has happened to him.  Did all of the watches fall on him and crush him or is he sick?  inquiring minds want to know, asking for a friend really.

I didn't ask you to make it public.

The unprecedented task of pulling Thailand out of its COVID-induced economic crisis rests on the shoulders of just three men. And there are signs that Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, his deputy and Energy Minister Supattanapong Punmeechaow, and Finance Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith are feeling the pressure of their huge burden.

Feeling the pressure from his single minded decision to only procure the bulk of vaccines from a certain Thai manufacturer. And his own decision not to allow any other institution to procure vaccines from outside by placing so many hurdles in place it's virtually impossible for anyone to do.

Great economic team.  They managed to jack the Baht up again.  Down goes the economy again.  I’ve seen this movie before.

Always wonder what they got all the medals for.

They get their first one for being born; the second for their first Burp, the next for their first word....''CUUUUUP', the next for eating alone with one of those ghastly Tin Spoons etc etc !

"Prayut and his economic team facing unprecedented test of crisis management"

I suppose that deposing an elected government with a military coup was a crisis with plenty of precedent in Thailand /Siam. so the headline is somewhat true....
