The government said on Monday that provincial governments must gain approval from the Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) before they buy coronavirus vaccines, the government said on Monday.

 

The measures are there “…to avoid confusion” said General Anupong Paochinda, the Interior Minister.

 

He said problem may rise if some Provincial Administrative Organizations (PAOs) made an order that they cannot pay for it or if they order too much.

Well surely they could sell it to other private hospitals or even the government instead of borrowing from other countries

As apposed to the governments smooth handling of the production/procurement of vaccines?

The smaller towns and villages seem to be last on the list with every obstacle they can think of to cover up the lack of supply. Bangkok is already swallowing up (slowly!) everything that's available.

 

The poo yai here drove to the 2 larger administrative towns in the province to be told he can register but will have to wait for the vaccine till 'don't know'.

 

There is no hope for us plebs if he can't get a jab.

 

Been to the two hospitals here - Thai only still.

Same in our village.
Been two meetings so far & as yet, no one in registered. One person has apparently been able to register online - booked for September. Private hospital stated Moderna available & foreigners can book - but no one has any idea when! On & on it goes......................
