Several members inside the Bhumjai Thai Party have asked party leader and Deputy Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul to reconsider the party’s position within the coalition as criticisms mount over the government’s handling of the coronavirus crisis.

Anutin, in his role as DPM and the Minister of Public Health, has been one of the cabinet ministers singled out for criticism for his role in the country’s Covid-19 response.

The country has seen a record number of infections since the beginning of April with thousands dead and no end to the crisis in sight.

Prayut will not like this - the blame game is ramping up

No chance. Anutin is making an absolute fortune out of his current position/stance.

Why would he give that up? For the benefit of the country? Don't think so...

Anutin for his part said in past interviews that he doesn’t plan on leaving the coalition and that he was there to fix the country’s problem.

He isn't doing a very good job of it, in fact, he seems to be making it worse !

Thaksin will be lovin' this.

He knows it is only a matter of time before the whole thing falls apart and he can return and take his rightful place as president advisor to the next prime minister.

Rats have identified the nearest hawser.

Anutin is the one who has to step down too... If the party want a little credibility they should ban Mr Anutin right now...Let coalition fall down, with new elections and all banned persons can take part in it..

drug minister Thammanat giving drug induced bananas in positioning to his own premiership.

As there is no any decent person ever in BJT, their politicians will always scavenge.

Actually this move will boost Palang Pracharat, the ruling party.

At the same time there is no chance BJT would abandon coalition "Mafia bosses, black magic and marijuana"

And the people of Thailand ask Anutin to reconsider staying in politics. Have you not done enough harm? You and your creepy PM have sabotaged this nation to no end.

You, Cha Cha and Phiphat have destroyed the economy and the tourism industry.

Will you ever stop?

Will you ever give the nation a chance to recover without your toxic and deadbeat influence?
