webfact
File photo The Thai cabinet yesterday approved reductions in the cost of electricity and water bills for the ten provinces affected by the lockdown. They are Bangkok, Samut Prakan, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom, Yala, Pattani, Naratiwas and Songkhla. Electricity price reductions are mainly based on what users paid in February of this year and will be applied to July and August bills. Water rates for residential properties and small businesses (not government agencies or state enterprises) will be 10% across the board for August and September. Residential properties using less than 150 units in July and August will get the first 90 units for free. Residential properties using more than 150 units but the same or less than they did in February will pay the normal rate on the meter. If they used more than their February bill but not more than 500 units they will pay the same as their February bill. People using 501 to 1000 units will pay what they paid in February plus 50% of the extra they use. People using more than 1000 units will pay what they paid in February plus 70% of the extra they use. Small businesses (non state enterprise) will get the first 100 units free. Different rates apply for medium and large businesses based on minimum and demand charges, reported Naew Na. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-07-14 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates

JAS21
Last month got 665thb discount ... lucky was 6 units under 500. Must make sure that I am under 500 again. No PHEV charging for the rest of the month. It's not much cheaper that gasoline anyway.
