Does anyone feel their life in Thailand has marginally improved by the Thai Visa rebranding?

Has for me, and others can sense it.

Matterafact, the CP hot dog lady at Makro winked at me yesterday.

She just knew, and couldn't resist.

I grinned back and flashed my badge, "Asean Now, Yeah Baby!", and her knees buckled.

Happens all the time now.

Thai Geezer

Over in the Reddit Thailand forum, TV/AseanNow is known for being home of the "grumpy grandpas". Though I much prefer this to the snarky BS over there. Almost everything they say is trash talk. I'd get my Gmail inbox with notifications full of it. What's the point? Perhaps if you're a masochist.

We do our fare share here, but there they nitpick everything. They just gotta get you on something to rack up those Internet Tough Guy points or whatever. Not to mention they've got ladies around over there, so whenever a cutesy name or profile pic comes along, you can bet they step it up. Instead of just going to a bar, and buying her a damn drink.

Social media toxicity. Kids these days.

No.

I feel great nostalgia for the original name.

A rose is a rose.

Also, time does not stand still.

I will never be able to recapture my youth, a time when I first enjoyed TV, under its real name.

If the name change has chased off some of the serial (Thai specific) wingers,

then im all for it.

I do notice one guy who used to moan daily about the government, PM,

brown paper bags, etc seems to have gone quiet.

Maybe he did finally leave.

yeah right, they never do????

My life has improved by about the same amount as when Datsun became Nissan.

I found that event rather more exciting, and even funny.
As many on TV now ANO ("Upward " in Greek if my memory errs me not) will remember,
the Nissan Boss called the most expensive Marketing Consultant:
B: Need new name for my cars!
C.: When?
B: This weekend !
C.: ThatSoon ?

My life has never been the same since the day cheetah george posted the Pattaya Song video.

Nothing Compares.

Name change: of no consequence.

New logo: prefer it to the (previously more prominent) durian.

Unfortunately the search function is still pretty useless (at least for me).

I didn't drive a car then, nor do I drive a car now.

Try google - enter the search terms you wish, and add Thai Visa or Asean at the end

How would my life be "improved" by participating in a "forum" which bans "bad language" and any semblance of truth related to Thailand? No purpose is served by ANY kind of censorship. Real people swear and use profanity. Mormon missionaries usually don't. Which category do YOU fall into??

let me suggest to those that should be interested in this topic, to post a properly structured survey what may give some leads why traffic and ad revenue are moving …

more chances of getting an unbiased overview that way.

Let me suggest more pictures, with suggestive euphemisms in the captions.
