Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is bracing for his third censure debate this week when he and five other Cabinet members will be grilled by opposition politicians.

The attacks will center on the government’s management of the COVID-19 pandemic and its devastating economic fallout, according to opposition leader Sompong Amornvivat of the Pheu Thai Party.

The four-day debate is scheduled to start on Tuesday (August 31), with voting on Saturday (September 4).

As well as Prayut, the opposition is also targeting five key ministers from the three major coalition parties. They are Deputy Premier and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and Transport Minister Saksayam Chidchob from the Bhumjaithai Party, Labour Minister Suchat Chomklin and Digital Economy and Society Minister Chaiwut Thanakamanusorn from Palang Pracharath, and Agriculture and Cooperatives Minister Chalermchai Sri-on from the Democrat Party.

Nothing will change... Anutin has ordered 140 million vaccines for this year..., Prayuth is proud to be his measures for the good working lockdown and vaccination program so you can see in the daily cases. Besides that they are supported by 250 friend senators The involved parties have the majority and will vote against the opposition so all is won.. Only problem stays is the public confidence.. I don't understand why they are worried about that.. It seems obvious already that they have lost it

Thaksin has instructed PT to pull its punches against PPRP by excluding Pravit from the no confidence debate and voted for the huge central budget fund for Prayut in the hope of getting a slice of it as a reward. He has also paid Nattawut and Sombat to jump on protest band waggon to increase his leverage to join the government in case coalition parties defect. It looks like he will be disappointed again, although it is always wise to be prepared for sudden changes of allegiance in Thai politics.  The coalition ministers are making great money in this anything goes corruption environment and no one feels the need to hand their punch bowl to someone else on principle. If they had principles, they would be in the government.

Its all weighted in there favor.

Everyone knows this.

But having a censure every few months helps point out these idiots faults.

There days are numbered.

Take the dinosaurs down. Anything that can be done to weaken these fools, make their jobs harder, embarrass them, humiliate them, oppose them, resist them, confound them, berate them, and show them how much they are despised, is a good thing. It is only a matter of time.

Do you have any evidence for your assertations? or are presenting your opinion as fact? I just find it hard to believe that you have evidence for Taksin paying Nattawut and Sombat.  I am sure all the newspapers in Thailand would line up and handsomly pay you for such evidence. Just saying you could be sitting on a gold mine if you have evidence.
