Popular Post domdom
Hello Reopening is "advertised" everywhere.. Dine in allowed BUT of course not able to get a glass of wine or a beer .. On top of it I just come to know that even curfew being at 9 o clock at night restaurants HAVE TO CLOSE AT 8 !!!! Which nonsense is that ?? Then just say restaurants may open only at noon and for tea time afternoon.. will be clearer !! Best regards 4 1

Popular Post domdom
I know very well some break the law.. My point is, prohibiting any type or quantity of alcohol, doesn t help any fine dining restaurant (as they make most of their profit/margin on alcohol sales) and how, drinking a glass of wine or beer with your meal would affect the Covid issue.. and on top of it now, forcing all eateries to close at 8 is a nonsense.. Have a nice day

I went for a pizza at the local Italian restaurant just after 8:00 and was told to go away. Luckily, I had one in the freezer so I just fired up the oven when I got back home. Never mind, I managed a swim and a haircut, so that's 2 out of 3, lol!

Kinnock
In Bangsaeni many restaurants still closed, probably not worth opening with reduced occupancy. Also parks and car parks still closed - perhaps they didn't get the memo.

Have a nice day The problem with allowing alcohol in restaurants is simple people will eat something and gather to drink. I will not dine in for anything but breakfast until I can have a glass of wine with my food, so my thoughts are they can't allow until bars can open as well
thailand49
I see patience isn't the strong suit here this is Thailand give it time as it is being discussed in Bangkok right now. Fine dining that is good one. No one is ever happy that is part of life!

Nanaplaza666
They want restaurants to close at 20:00 because the curfew starts at 21:00 . If they allow restaurants to open untill 21:00 , a lot of people would be outside after curfew . Ok i also think the curfew is B.S but this explains your "nonsense" .

Popular Post champers
The current PM is a natural killjoy; very conservative with a small c. His position as Covid Czar allows him to continue imposing restrictions which may not always have a sound factual or scientific reasoning. Perhaps we should consider ourselves lucky that we are still able to buy alcohol, though only during 6 hours per day. I suspect that is more down to the big brewing companies rather than the PM.

Have a nice day It is pretty simple with the alcohol. When it was allowed many people used the restaurants as a kind of bars to gather and drink with their friends there. I think there is no other reason why it is not allowed. So thank those people.
Lucky Bones
Yes Nanaplaza. It's not rocket science to work out that restaurants etc must close well before curfew time so they can clean and get home. Some people need to perhaps get over themselves.
