China says criticisms of vaccine hurt its goodwill

The government owns it all, no one owns anything.

Sinovac Biotech has institutional ownership and traded in Nasdaq. I Globe. Capital is the largest shareholder and is a  investment company based in USA. Facts get out of the window when anything China related is mentioned.

It's true that the vaccine peformed very well against the earlier variants. But so far no large scale real world studies have been completed on how well it performs against the delta variant. And the

  • Oh grow up China...

  • Make a better quality vaccine and you don't get criticism . Show your data just like US and European countries did. What is wrong with stating that a vaccine is less effective then other ones. Why sho

Just thought control to help the Thai government to silence the opposition.

The CCP does not give a hoot as to what the Thai people think.

They do not even care what their own people think.

One simple word applies here, "negligence".

My interpretation is that they don't have the broad base of knowledge that comes from doing the original R&D because they steal IP - hence you have bullet trans that crash, vaccines with questionable efficacy, rockets that blow up, aircraft carriers that self immolate etc.

Good will, China, =oxymoron.

They think that people cannot connect Belt and Road initiatives, owning the future rail services and rolling stock, and supplying what has been proven to be a less efficacious for a virus which originated from their country?

They forget some people are not force-fed from their massive propaganda machine and have access to the outside world on a currently open internet.

The continuing questioning of the efficacy of the Chinese-made Sinovac Covid-19 vaccine has drawn the ire of China whose Embassy in Bangkok said it hurts China’s goodwill to help Thailand’s fight against the pandemic, triggering a heated debate on the social media.

My heart pumps purple p... for them.

Might be best to say nothing China

China says criticisms of vaccine hurt its goodwill.......and novel viruses kill people and ruin economies (did they miss that bit off?).

Because they lack the intelligence to come up with all on their own. And we all know who they are stealing it from. Or perhaps the people they are stealing from are giving them false IP intentionally?

Fine. Take back all the unused Sinovac. I don't think you would hear anyone complaining. The only people who want it is the Thai government to keep in favour so one day Chinese tourists will come back.

you are 100% correct - we enabled them giving them our technology on a plate, they didn't even have to reverse engineer it - all for what, cheap manufacturing for the greedy west

Your allegation doesn’t pass the smell test. China filed more patents than any countries including USA.

Someone examined the patents filed by Huwei (maybe not all of them as they are so numerous). They were just BS.

And refund the price paid..... while we go about it, when does the world get the Covid reparations?

It's an inferior vaccine, what do they expect?  Do they want people to say "Sinovac is a good quality vaccine.  We're not using it anymore for completely unrelated reasons."  Or do they actually expect people to keep using it and leave themselves vulnerable just to not cause offense?

2 hours ago, placeholder said:

Doesn't that observation apply to every country? And keep in mind that in the case of Sinovac its vaccine was produced by a company that's located in China but it's not the Chinese govt.

So why is the Chinese government defending it? And everything is connected in China. No company is completely independent of the state.

Strange definition of 'goodwill'.

Should be termed 'recompense'.

Same reason they defend everything Chinese...Nationalism

Though I don't disagree with the notion sinovac has links to the Chinese govt

Patents for what, cheap "Made in China" products? No thanks... China seems to have the market cornered on viruses that cause world wide misery, maybe they should file patents on those too!

How does that "smell" pass your "smell test"???

It also pointed out that studies by public health agencies in Chile and Indonesia showed that Sinovac was 86 per cent and 95 per cent effective respectively in dealing with mutated variants of the virus, “which proves it’s not low-quality vaccine as alleged.”

Same study that reported many deaths of front line doctors in Indonesia double vaccinated with Sinovac.?

America and the UK infact provided the goodwill with donations of Pfizer and Astra Zeneca for free!

Whilst the Junta of Thailand being Chinas obedient bitch paid well over the odds for Sinovac although suitably compensated!

So China are upset that after punching you in the face you're upset at the standard of the tissue they give you to mop up the blood ? Anyone else see the issue in that ?

Respect must be earned, and never freely given. Same applies to goodwill. China, do something to earn some goodwill. You want credibility on the world stage? Start behaving like a responsible nation.

Stop behaving in a ridiculous manner, and like that of a bully, in the South China Sea. It has been centuries since a nation insisted it's territorial waters extended a thousand miles or more, from it's border. We would refer to that as self applied egg on the face. OK?

When you develop a vaccine intended for world consumption, try a little harder. Thy to obtain an efficacy rate that rivals the others, and is not at the bottom of the list. It just reinforces the notion that Chinese made goods are of inferior quality.

Stop the harvesting of organs from political prisoners.

Many practitioners have reported that, while they were in China’s extensive network of detention centres and forced labour camps, they were tortured. Evidence indicates that Falun Gong practitioners, Uyghur Muslims, Tibetans and other prisoners have been further subject to forced live organ harvesting.

Stop locking up those who are different from the masses, such as the Falun Gong disciples, and the Uyghur Muslims. Behaving like a civilized nation might earn you some respect.

Fteedom of speech is not intended to be comfortable in all instances. The CCP cannot stifle commentary outside their "barbwire borders".

The CCP has goodwill towards other countries? - now that is news!

First we spread out the virus, refuse to provide data to WHO.

Then we selflessly help Thailand to fight the pandemia with the best vaccine ever to be on earth...

And last nobody is grateful and nobody loves us except our friend Anutin and the beloved leader and general there.

The world is so unfair!

And this is a beautiful thing. One they cannot come to terms with. It appears their eventual goal is world domination, and nothing short of that. Let us hope the Chinese people are capable of getting rid of the heinous and ill intentioned CCP, before that happens! If it happens. The whole house could collapse, as the internal debt is staggering.

'Goodwill' ?  Don't make me laugh; only interested in what they can get for themselves, ignoring the fact that this and many other filthy deseases started in China !
